Transmeton Ebu Uthman en-Nehdi: Ebu Musai i shkroi një prijësi pers dhe e përshëndeti atë në letrën e tij. Atë e pyetën: "A e përshëndet atë ndërkohë që ai është jobesimtar?" Ai u përgjigj: "Ai më shkroi mua dhe më përshëndeti, prandaj unë ia ktheva atij."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِشْرٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ قَالَ‏:‏ كَتَبَ أَبُو مُوسَى إِلَى رُهْبَانٍ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ فِي كِتَابِهِ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ‏:‏ أَتُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ إِنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ، فَرَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ‏.‏
Abu 'Uthman an-Nahdi said, "Abu Musa wrote to a Persian grandee
and greeted him in his letter. He was asked, 'Do you greet him when he
is an unbeliever?' He replied, 'He wrote to me and greeted me, so I have
answered him.'"

Transmeton Ebu Basra el-Gifari se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Nesër do të shkoj te hebrenjtë. Mos ua filloni të parët me selam, por nëse ju përshëndesin, u thoni: 'Edhe juve'."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ إِنِّي رَاكِبٌ غَدًا إِلَى يَهُودَ، فَلاَ تَبْدَأُوهُمْ بِالسَّلاَمِ، فَإِذَا سَلَّمُوا عَلَيْكُمْ فَقُولُوا‏:‏ وَعَلَيْكُمْ‏.‏
Abu Basra al-Ghifari reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, said, "I will ride to the Jews tomorrow. Do not
give them the greeting first. If they greet you, then say, 'and on you.'"

Transmeton Ebu Hurejre: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Mos ua filloni të parët selamin Ithtarëve të Librit dhe shtrëngoni ata në pjesën më të ngushtë të rrugës."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَبْدَأُوهُمْ بِالسَّلاَمِ، وَاضْطَرُّوهُمْ إِلَى أَضْيَقِ الطَّرِيقِ‏.‏
Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, said, "Do not give the People of the Book the greeting
first. Force them to the narrowest part of the road."

Transmeton Alkame: Abdullahu i përshëndeste fisnikët persianë vetëm me shenjë.
حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ‏:‏ إِنَّمَا سَلَّمَ عَبْدُ اللهِ عَلَى الدَّهَاقِينَ إِشَارَةً‏.‏
'Alqama said, "'Abdullah used to greet the Persian grandees with
a gesture."

Transmeton Enesi: Një hebre kaloi pranë Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) dhe tha: "Es-samu alejkum" (Vdekja qoftë mbi ju). Shokët e tij ia kthyen selamin, por Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Ai tha: 'Es-samu alejkum'." Hebreun e kapën dhe ai e pranoi këtë. Atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Kthejani me atë që tha."
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ مَرَّ يَهُودِيٌّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ‏:‏ السَّامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَرَدَّ أَصْحَابُهُ السَّلاَمَ، فَقَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ‏:‏ السَّامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَأُخِذَ الْيَهُودِيُّ فَاعْتَرَفَ، قَالَ‏:‏ رُدُّوا عَلَيْهِ مَا قَالَ‏.‏
Anas said, "A Jew passed by the Prophet, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, saying, 'Peace be upon you.' His Companions returned the
salam.' The Prophet said, 'The Jew said, 'Poison (sam) be upon you.'
He caught hold of the Jew who admitted it.' The Prophet said, 'Answer him
with what he said.'"

Transmeton Abdullah ibn Omeri: I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Kur ndonjë prej hebrenjve ju përshëndet, ai në fakt thotë: 'Vdekja qoftë mbi ju (es-samu alejkum)', andaj ju thuani: 'Edhe mbi ty'."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدُهُمْ، فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ‏:‏ السَّامُ عَلَيْكَ، فَقُولُوا‏:‏ وَعَلَيْكَ‏.‏
'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah
bless him and grant him peace, said, "When one of the Jews greets you and
says, 'Poison be upon you (as-samu 'alaykum),' say, 'And on you.'"

Transmeton Ibn Abbasi: Kthejani selamin kujtdo që ju përshëndet, qoftë ai jehud, i krishterë apo zjarrputist. Kjo sepse Allahu thotë: "Kur të përshëndeteni me ndonjë përshëndetje, përshëndetni me një më të mirë se ajo ose kthejeni atë (ashtu siç ishte)." (4:86)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ رُدُّوا السَّلاَمَ عَلَى مَنْ كَانَ يَهُودِيًّا، أَوْ نَصْرَانِيًّا، أَوْ مَجُوسِيًّا، ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ‏:‏ ‏{‏وَإِذَا حُيِّيتُمْ بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوا بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْهَا أَوْ رُدُّوهَا‏}‏‏.‏
Ibn 'Abbas said, "Return the greeting to whomever it is, Jew,
Christian, or Magian. That is because Allah says, 'When you are greeted
with a greeting, greet with one better than it or return it.' (4:86)"

Transmeton Usama bin Zejdi: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) po kalëronte një gomar, mbi të cilin ishte një samar i mbuluar me një cohë nga Fadaku, ndërsa Usama bin Zejdi ishte i ulur prapa tij. Ai ishte rrugës për të vizituar Sad bin Ubaden, kur kaloi pranë një tubimi ku ndodhej Abdullah bin Ubejj bin Seluli – kjo ishte para se ai të pranonte Islamin. Në atë tubim kishte një përzierje njerëzish: myslimanë, idhujtarë dhe adhurues të idhujve. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) i përshëndeti ata.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَكِبَ عَلَى حِمَارٍ عَلَيْهِ إِكَافٌ عَلَى قَطِيفَةٍ فَدَكِيَّةٍ، وَأَرْدَفَ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَرَاءَهُ، يَعُودُ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ، حَتَّى مَرَّ بِمَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أُبَيٍّ ابْنُ سَلُولٍ، وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ عَبْدُ اللهِ، فَإِذَا فِي الْمَجْلِسِ أَخْلاَطٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَعَبْدَةِ الأَوْثَانِ، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ‏.‏
Usama ibn Zayd related that one day the Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, was riding on a donkey on a straw saddle covered
by a blanket from Fadak. Usama ibn Zayd was riding behind him. He was on
his way to visit Sa'd ibn 'Ubada. He passed by a meeting which included
'Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salul - before the enemy of Allah had become
Muslim. The gathering contained a mixture of Muslims, associaters and idolaters.
He greeted them.

Transmeton Ebu Sufjan ibn Harbi: Herakliu, mbreti i Bizantit, dërgoi njerëz për ta thirrur atë, e pastaj kërkoi letrën e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.), të cilën Dihje el-Kelbi ia kishte dorëzuar prijësit të Busrës, e ky i fundit ia kishte përcjellë Herakliut. Ai e lexoi atë, ku shkruante: "Me emrin e Allahut, të Gjithëmëshirshmit, Mëshirëplotit. Nga Muhamedi, robi i Allahut dhe i Dërguari i Tij, drejtuar Herakliut, të madhit të Bizantit. Paqja qoftë mbi atë që ndjek rrugën e drejtë! Më tej: Unë të ftoj me thirrjen e Islamit. Prano Islamin që të jesh i shpëtuar, e Allahu do të ta japë shpërblimin dyfish. Por, nëse refuzon, atëherë mbi ty rëndon mëkati i nënshtetasve të tu. 'O ithtarë të Librit, ejani te një fjalë që është e përbashkët mes nesh dhe jush...' deri te fjalët: '...dëshmoni se ne jemi muslimanë'."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ بْنَ حَرْبٍ أَخْبَرَهُ‏:‏ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ هِرَقْلُ مَلِكُ الرُّومِ، ثُمَّ دَعَا بِكِتَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الَّذِي أُرْسِلَ بِهِ مَعَ دِحْيَةَ الْكَلْبِيِّ إِلَى عَظِيمِ بُصْرَى، فَدَفَعَهُ إِلَيَّ هِرَقْلُ فَقَرَأَهُ، فَإِذَا فِيهِ‏:‏ بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى هِرَقْلَ عَظِيمِ الرُّومِ، سَلاَّمٌ عَلَى مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدَى، أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فَإِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ بِدِعَايَةِ الإِسْلاَمِ، أَسْلِمْ تَسْلَمْ، يُؤْتِكَ اللَّهُ أَجْرَكَ مَرَّتَيْنِ، فَإِنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ إِثْمَ الأَرِيسِيِّينَ وَ ‏{‏يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ‏}‏ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ‏:‏ ‏{‏اشْهَدُوا بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ‏}‏‏.‏
'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas related that Abu Sufyan ibn Harb sent him
to Heraclius, the Byzantine Emperor, and he called for the letter of the
Messenger of Allah which Dihya had brought to the governor of Busra, who
in turn passed it on to Heraclius. He read it out, saying, 'In the name
of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate, from Muhammad, the slave of
Allah and His Messenger, to Heraclius, ruler of the Byzantines. Peace be
upon the one who follows guidance. I call you to Islam. If you become Muslim,
you will be safe and Allah will double your reward. If you turn away, then
you incur the wrong action of your subjects. "O People of the Book!
Come to a proposition which is the same for us and you (to His
words) Bear witness that we are Muslims."
(3:54)'"

Transmeton Xhabiri: Disa njerëz nga hebrenjtë e përshëndetën Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: "Vdekja qoftë mbi ju (as-samu alejkum)", ndërsa ai u përgjigj: "Edhe mbi ju". Aishja (r.a.) tha me zemërim: "A nuk e dëgjove atë që thanë?" Ai u përgjigj: "Po, e dëgjova dhe u ktheva përgjigje. Lutja jonë për ta pranohet, ndërsa e tyrja për ne nuk pranohet."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا مَخْلَدٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ‏:‏ سَلَّمَ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَقَالُوا‏:‏ السَّامُ عَلَيْكُمْ، قَالَ‏:‏ وَعَلَيْكُمْ، فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا وَغَضِبَتْ‏:‏ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ مَا قَالُوا‏؟‏ قَالَ‏:‏ بَلَى قَدْ سَمِعْتُ فَرَدَدْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ، نُجَابُ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلا يُجَابُونَ فِينَا‏.‏
Jabir said, "Some of the Jews greeted the Prophet, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, by saying, 'Poison be upon you (as-Samu 'alaykum)'
and the Prophet replied, 'And on you.' 'A'isha, may Allah be pleased with
her, said angrily, 'Didn't you hear what they said?' The Prophet replied,
'Yes, and I answered them. What I said about them will be accepted and
what they said about me will not be accepted.'"

Transmeton Ebu Hurejre se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: Kur t'i takoni mushrikët në rrugë, mos u jepni selam të parët dhe shtrëngojini ata në pjesën më të ngushtë të saj.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ‏:‏ إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، فَلاَ تَبْدَأُوهُمْ بِالسَّلاَمِ، وَاضْطَرُّوهُمْ إِلَى أَضْيَقِهَا‏.‏

Transmeton Ukbe bin Amir el-Xhuhenij: Ai kaloi pranë një njeriu, pamja e të cilit ishte si e një muslimani, i cili e përshëndeti. Ukbeja ia ktheu përshëndetjen duke i thënë: "Edhe mbi ty qoftë mëshira e Allahut dhe bekimat e Tij." Shërbëtori i tij i tha: "Ai është i krishterë." Atëherë Ukbeja u ngrit dhe e ndoqi derisa e arriti, e i tha: "Vërtet mëshira e Allahut dhe bekimat e Tij janë për besimtarët, por Allahu ta zgjattë jetën dhe ta shtoftë pasurinë e fëmijët."
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ تَلِيدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي عَمْرٍو السَّيْبَانِيَّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّهُ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ هَيْئَتُهُ هَيْئَةُ مُسْلِمٍ، فَسَلَّمَ، فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ‏:‏ وَعَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْغُلاَمُ‏:‏ إِنَّهُ نَصْرَانِيٌّ، فَقَامَ عُقْبَةُ فَتَبِعَهُ حَتَّى أَدْرَكَهُ فَقَالَ‏:‏ إِنَّ رَحْمَةَ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتَهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، لَكِنْ أَطَالَ اللَّهُ حَيَاتَكَ، وَأَكْثَرَ مَالَكَ وَوَلَدَكَ‏.‏
'Uqba ibn 'Amir al-Juhani passed by a man who looked like a Muslim
who greeted him. 'Uqba answered him, saying, "And on you and the mercy
of Allah and his blessings." His slave said to him, "He is a Christian."
'Uqba got up and followed him until he caught up to him. He said, "The
mercy of Allah and His blessings are for the believers, but may Allah make
your life long and give you much wealth and many children."

Transmeton Ibn Abbasi: Sikur të më thoshte Faraoni: "Allahu të bekoftë", unë do t'i thosha: "Edhe ty", mirëpo Faraoni ka vdekur.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ضِرَارِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ‏:‏ لَوْ قَالَ لِي فِرْعَوْنُ‏:‏ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ فِيكَ، قُلْتُ‏:‏ وَفِيكَ، وَفِرْعَوْنُ قَدْ مَاتَ‏.‏
Ibn 'Abbas said, "If Pharaoh had said to me, 'May Allah bless
you,' I would have said, 'And you.' But Pharaoh is dead."

Transmeton Ebu Musa: Jehuditë teshtinin në prani të Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) me shpresën se ai do t'u thoshte: "Allahu ju mëshiroftë", por ai u thoshte: "Allahu ju udhëzoftë dhe ju rregulloftë gjendjen tuaj".
وَعَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ دَيْلَمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ الْيَهُودُ يَتَعَاطَسُونَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجَاءَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُمْ‏:‏ يَرْحَمُكُمُ اللَّهُ، فَكَانَ يَقُولُ‏:‏ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ‏.‏
Abu Musa said, "The Jews used to sneeze in the presence in the
Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, hoping that he would
say to them, 'May Allah have mercy on you,' but he used to say, 'May Allah
guide you and out your affairs in order.'"

Transmeton Abdurrahmani: Ibn Omeri kaloi pranë një të krishteri i cili e përshëndeti dhe ai ia ktheu selamin. Atij i treguan se ai ishte i krishterë. Kur e mësoi këtë, u kthye tek ai dhe i tha: "Ma kthe mbrapsht selamin tim."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ‏:‏ مَرَّ ابْنُ عُمَرَ بِنَصْرَانيٍّ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ، فَرَدَّ عَلَيْهِ، فَأُخْبِرَ أَنَّهُ نَصْرَانِيٌّ، فَلَمَّا عَلِمَ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ‏:‏ رُدَّ عَلَيَّ سَلامِي‏.‏
'Abdu'r-Rahman said, "Ibn 'Umar passed by a Christian who greeted
him and Ibn 'Umar returned the greeting He was told that the man was a
Christian. When he learned that, he went back to him and said, 'Give me
back my greeting.'"

Transmeton Ajsheja se Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) i tha asaj: "Xhibrili të dërgon selam." Ajo u përgjigj: "Edhe mbi të qoftë paqja dhe mëshira e Allahut."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا قَالَ‏:‏ سَمِعْتُ عَامِرًا يَقُولُ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَهَا‏:‏ جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلامَ، فَقَالَتْ‏:‏ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ‏.‏
'A'isha reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant
him peace, said to her, "Jibril sends you the greeting." She replied, "And
peace be upon him and the mercy of Allah."
