Na ka treguar Hennad ibn el-Serijji, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Vakiu, nga Delhem ibn Salihu, nga Huxhejr ibn Abdullahu, nga Ibn Burejdeja, e ky nga babai i tij se Nexhashiu i dhuroi Profetit (paqja dhe bekimet e Allahut qofshin mbi të) një palë meste të zeza dhe të thjeshta; ai i mbathi ato, pastaj mori Abdest dhe u dha mes-h atyre.
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ دَلْهَمِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ حُجَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّجَاشِيَّ أَهْدَى لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، خُفَّيْنِ، أَسْوَدَيْنِ، سَاذَجَيْنِ، فَلَبِسَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا‏.‏
Ibn Buraida reported that his father said:
"The Negus gave the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) a pair of plain black shoes, so he put them on, then performed the minor ritual ablution and wiped over them.”

Na ka treguar Kutejbe b. Saidi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Jahja b. Zekerija b. Ebi Zaide, nga el-Hasan b. Ajjashi, nga Ebu Is’haku, nga esh-Sha’bi, se Mugire b. Shube ka thënë: Dihja i dhuroi Profetit (paqja dhe bekimet e Allahut qofshin mbi të) një palë meste, të cilat ai i veshi. Israiili përcjell nga Xhabiri, nga Amiri, se ai i dhuroi edhe një xhybe, dhe ai i veshi ato derisa u vjetruan e u grisën, pa e ditur Profeti (paqja dhe bekimet e Allahut qofshin mbi të) nëse ato ishin prej lëkurës së kafshës së therrur sipas rregullit fetar apo jo.

Ebu Isa ka thënë: Ky Ebu Is’haku është Ebu Is’hak esh-Shejbaniu, emri i të cilit është Sulejman.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ‏:‏ قَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ‏:‏ أَهْدَى دِحْيَةُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خُفَّيْنِ، فَلَبِسَهُمَا وَقَالَ إِسْرَائِيلُ‏:‏ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، وَجُبَّةً فَلَبِسَهُمَا حَتَّى تَخَرَّقَا لا يَدْرِي النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، أَذِكًى هُمَا أَمْ لا‏.‏ قال أبو عيسى: وأبو إسحاق هذا هو أبو إسحاق الشيباني واسمه سليمان.
Al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba said:
"Dihya a gown, so he wore the shoes until they were perforated, without the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) knowing whether or not they were made from the hide of a lawfully slaughtered animal.”
