قال: حدثنا يوسف عن أبيه عن أبي حنيفة، عن حماد، عن إبراهيم، أنه قال في
الرجال والنساء يصلى عليهم: «يوضع الرجال مما يلي الإمام، والنساء مما يلي
القبلة، لأن الرجال هم يلون الإمام في الحياة، فكذلك هم في الموت»

He said: Yusuf narrated to us from his father, from Abu Hanifa, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, that he said regarding men and women when the funeral prayer is performed over them: "The men are placed adjacent to the Imam, and the women are placed toward the direction of the Qibla, because men are those who stand adjacent to the Imam during life, and likewise they are in death."
Ai tha: Na ka treguar Jusufi, nga babai i tij, nga Ebu Hanifja, nga Hamadi, nga Ibrahimi, se ai ka thënë lidhur me burrat dhe gratë kur falet namazi i xhenazes për ta: "Burrat vendosen pranë imamit, ndërsa gratë vendosen në drejtim të Kibles, sepse burrat janë ata që qëndrojnë pranë imamit gjatë jetës, e po ashtu edhe në vdekje."
