1300 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga El-Amashi, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Ebu Vailin duke treguar nga Kajs bin Ebi Gareze, i cili ka thënë: «Doli tek ne i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) në treg, ndërkohë që ne po shisnim ngarkesa (mallrash) dhe quheshim 'es-Semasireh' (ndërmjetësues), e ai na quajti me një emër më të mirë sesa ai me të cilin e quanim veten tonë».

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ
يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ قَالَ: «خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا
رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - فِي السُّوقِ وَنَحْنُ نَبِيعُ الْأَوْسَاقَ، وَنَحْنُ
نُسَمَّى السَّمَاسِرَةَ، فَسَمَّانَا بِاسْمٍ أَحْسَنَ مِمَّا سَمَّيْنَا
بِهِ أَنْفُسَنَا».
1300 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, he said: I heard Abu Wa'il narrating from Qays ibn Abi Gharazah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) came out to us in the market while we were selling loads, and we were called 'as-Samasirah' (brokers), so he named us with a name better than what we had named ourselves."
