1314 - Na ka treguar Junusi, na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, ka thënë: Na ka treguar Sellami, nga Mensuri, nga Ibrahim et-Tejmiu, nga Ebu Abdullahu el-Xhedeliu, nga Huzejme bin Thabit el-Ensariu, i cili ka thënë: «I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e caktoi mestin për udhëtarin tri (ditë), e sikur të kërkonim më shumë, ai do të na shtonte.»
١٣١٤ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، قَالَ: «جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - ﷺ - لِلْمُسَافِرِ الْمَسْحَ ثَلَاثًا، وَلَوِ اسْتَزَدْنَا لَزَادَنَا».
1314 - Yunus narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Sallam narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim al-Taymi, from Abu Abd Allah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah ibn Thabit al-Ansari, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) appointed for the traveler three [days] for wiping, and if we had asked for more, he would have increased it for us."

1315 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga el-Hakemi dhe Hammadi, nga Ibrahimi, nga Ebu Abdilah el-Xhedeli, nga Huzejme bin Thabit el-Ensari, nga Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.), se ai ka thënë: «Për mes-hin mbi meste: për vendasin një ditë e një natë, ndërsa për udhëtarin tri ditë e netët e tyre».
١٣١٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ وَحَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ «فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ: لِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ».
1315 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from al-Hakam and Hammad, from Ibrahim, from Abu 'Abdullah al-Jadali, from Khuzaymah ibn Thabit al-Ansari, from the Prophet (pbuh) that he said: "Regarding wiping over the leather socks: for the resident, one day and one night, and for the traveler, three days and their nights."
