1316 - Na ka treguar Junusi, na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga El-Hakemi, nga Zejd b. Vehbi, nga El-Bera b. Azibi, nga Thabit b. Vedia, i cili ka thënë: «Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) i sollën një hardhucë (dhab), e ai tha: 'Një popull që është shndërruar, e Allahu e di më mirë'».
١٣١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ وَدِيعَةَ ، قَالَ: «أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ - بِضَبٍّ فَقَالَ: أُمَّةٌ مُسِخَتْ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ».
1316 - Yunus narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Al-Hakam, from Zayd ibn Wahb, from Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, from Thabit ibn Wadi'ah, who said: "A lizard was brought to the Prophet (pbuh), and he said: 'A nation was transformed, and Allah knows best.'"

1317 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, nga Ebu Is'haku, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Amir bin Sa'd el-Bexheliun duke thënë:
«Isha i pranishëm me Thabit bin Vedi'ah dhe Karadhah bin Ka'b el-Ensariun në një dasmë, ku kishte këndim. Unë u fola atyre për këtë, ndërsa ata më thanë: 'Vërtet, është dhënë leje për këndimin në dasmë dhe për të qarët mbi të vdekurin pa vajtim (nijahah)'.»
١٣١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَامِرَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ الْبَجَلِيَّ يَقُولُ: «شَهِدْتُ ثَابِتَ بْنَ وَدِيعَةَ وَقَرَظَةَ بْنَ كَعْبٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ فِي عُرْسٍ، وَإِذَا غِنَاءٌ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُمَا فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَا: إِنَّهُ رُخِّصَ فِي الْغِنَاءِ فِي الْعُرْسِ وَالْبُكَاءِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ فِي غَيْرِ نِيَاحَةٍ».
1317 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, he said: I heard 'Amir bin Sa'd al-Bajali saying: "I was present with Thabit bin Wadi'ah and Qarazah bin Ka'b al-Ansari at a wedding, and there was singing. So I spoke to them about that, and they said: 'Indeed, a concession has been granted for singing at weddings and for weeping over the deceased without wailing.'"

1318 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shu'be, i cili ka thënë: Më ka njoftuar Jezid bin Ebi Zijadi, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Zejd bin Vehb el-Xhuheniun duke treguar nga Thabit bin Vedi'ah:

«Se një beduin erdhi te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) me një hardhucë (dabb) dhe e vendosi para tij. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Një popull u shndërrua, dhe unë nuk e di, mbase kjo është prej tij'.»
١٣١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ وَدِيعَةَ «أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - بِضَبٍّ فَوَضَعَهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أُمَّةٌ مُسِخَتْ، وَمَا أَدْرِي لَعَلَّ هَذَا مِنْهُ».
1318 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad informed me, he said: I heard Zayd ibn Wahb al-Juhani narrating from Thabit ibn Wadi'ah:

'That a Bedouin came to the Prophet (pbuh) with a lizard and placed it before him. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "A nation was transformed, and I do not know, perhaps this is from it."'
