Na ka treguar Shube, nga Esh'ath bin Ebi esh-Sha'tha, i cili ka thënë:
Kam dëgjuar Esved bin Hilalin duke treguar nga një burrë prej fisit Beni Thalebe bin Jerbu' se: «Disa njerëz prej tyre erdhën te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) - ndërkohë që ata, Beni Thalebe, kishin vrarë një burrë prej shokëve të të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) - dhe një burrë tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, këta janë Beni Thalebe bin Jerbu' që kanë vrarë filanin! Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha:
Asnjë shpirt nuk mban barrën e tjetrit. Pastaj Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) përmendi sadakanë dhe i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Dora e dhënësit është më e larta; (jepi) nënës tënde dhe babait tënd, motrës tënde dhe vëllait tënd, pastaj atij që vjen pas tyre e kështu me radhë».
Kështu ka thënë Shube nga një burrë prej Beni Thalebe, ndërsa eth-Thevriu ka thënë: nga Thalebe bin Zehdemi.

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ ، قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ هِلَالٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي
ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ يَرْبُوعٍ «أَنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنْهُمْ أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ
- ﷺ - وَكَانُوا - بَنُو ثَعْلَبَةَ - أَصَابُوا رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ
رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هَؤُلَاءِ بَنُو
ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ يَرْبُوعٍ قَتَلَتْ فُلَانًا! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا تَجْنِي نَفْسٌ عَلَى أُخْرَى، وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ - الصَّدَقَةَ
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يَدُ الْمُعْطِي الْعُلْيَا؛ أُمَّكَ وَأَبَاكَ،
وَأُخْتَكَ وَأَخَاكَ، ثُمَّ أَدْنَاكَ فَأَدْنَاكَ».
هَكَذَا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي ثَعْلَبَةَ، وَقَالَ الثَّوْرِيُّ: عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ زَهْدَمٍ.
1353 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Ash'ath bin Abi al-Sha'tha', he said: I heard al-Aswad bin Hilal narrating from a man from Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' 'that some people from among them came to the Messenger of Allah (saw) - and they, Banu Tha'labah, had struck a man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah (saw) - so a man said: O Messenger of Allah, these are Banu Tha'labah bin Yarbu' who killed so-and-so! So the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: No soul bears the burden of another. And the Prophet (saw) mentioned charity, so the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: The hand of the giver is the upper hand; your mother and your father, your sister and your brother, then your nearest and then your nearest.'
Thus said Shu'bah from a man from Banu Tha'labah, and al-Thawri said: from Tha'labah bin Zahdam.
