1354 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu el-Esh'hebi, nga Abdurrahman bin Tarefe, nga gjyshi i tij Arfexhe bin Es'edi, se atij i ishte dëmtuar hunda në ditën e Kulabit në xhahilijet, prandaj mori një hundë prej argjendi, por ajo i mbante erë të keqe, kështu që Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) e urdhëroi atë që të merrte një hundë prej ari.

- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَشْهَبِ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَرْفَجَةَ بْنِ
أَسْعَدَ «أَنَّهُ أُصِيبَ أَنْفُهُ يَوْمَ الْكُلَابِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ
فَاتَّخَذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ فَأَنْتَنَ عَلَيْهِ، فَأَمَرَهُ
النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ - أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ أَنْفًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ».
1354 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ashhab narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Tarafa, from his grandfather Arfajah ibn As'ad that his nose was injured on the Day of al-Kulab during the Pre-Islamic period (Jahiliyyah), so he took a nose made of silver, but it became fetid. So the Prophet (pbuh) commanded him to take a nose made of gold.
