- Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Muhamed bin el-Munkediri, nga një burrë, nga Hanzale el-Ensariu:
«Se një burrë e përshëndeti të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.), por ai nuk ia ktheu derisa u fshi (bëri tejemum) dhe tha: "Nuk më pengoi asgjë që të ta ktheja (selamin), përveçse nuk isha me abdest", ose tha: "Nuk ia ktheu derisa u fshi, pastaj ia ktheu".»

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ،
عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ «أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَلَّمَ عَلَى رَسُولِ
اللهِ - ﷺ - فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى تَمَسَّحَ وَقَالَ: لَمْ
يَمْنَعْنِي أَنْ أَرُدَّ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا أَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ
مُتَوَضِّئًا، أَوْ قَالَ: لَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى تَمَسَّحَ فَرَدَّ
عَلَيْهِ».
1361 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir, from a man, from Hanzalah al-Ansari:
"that a man greeted the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) but he did not return it until he wiped and said: 'Nothing prevented me from returning it to you except that I was not in a state of ablution,' or he said: 'He did not return it to him until he wiped, then he returned it to him.'"
