1396 - Na ka treguar Junusi, na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Zuhejr b. Muhamed et-Temimi, nga Jahja b. Seid el-Ensari, nga Muhamed b. Ibrahim el-Kureshi, se Ebu Hadredi kërkoi ndihmë nga i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) për një martesë. Ai (s.a.v.s.) e pyeti: 'Sa ia caktove mehrin?' Ai u përgjigj: 'Dyqind dërhemë.' Ai (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Sikur të mblidhnit (ujë) nga lugina e Buthanit, nuk do të jepnit më shumë.'

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا
زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ
الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقُرَشِيِّ «أَنَّ
أَبَا حَدْرَدٍ اسْتَعَانَ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ - فِي نِكَاحٍ، فَقَالَ: كَمْ
أَصْدَقْتَ؟، قَالَ: مِائَتَيْ دِرْهَمٍ، قَالَ: لَوْ كُنْتُمْ
تَغْرِفُونَ مِنْ بُطْحَانَ مَا زِدْتُمْ».
1396 - Yunus narrated to us, Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad al-Tamimi narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Ansari, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Qurashi that Abu Hadrad sought the help of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) regarding a marriage. He (the Prophet) asked: "How much dowry did you give?" He replied: "Two hundred dirhams." He (the Prophet) said: "Even if you were scooping from Buthan, you would not have given more."
