1416 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Katade, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Ebu el-Melih el-Hudheliun duke treguar nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Isha me të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) në një shtëpi dhe e dëgjova atë duke thënë: Vërtet, Allahu i Madhëruar nuk e pranon namazin pa pastërti dhe as sadakanë nga pasuria e fituar në mënyrë të paligjshme (nga plaçka e luftës para ndarjes).»
١٤١٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - فِي بَيْتٍ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللهَ ﵎ لَا يَقْبَلُ صَلَاةً بِغَيْرِ طُهُورٍ وَلَا صَدَقَةً مِنْ غُلُولٍ».
1416 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Qatadah, he said: I heard Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali narrating from his father, he said: 'I was with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in a house, and I heard him saying: Indeed, Allah does not accept a prayer without purification, nor charity from ill-gotten gains.'

1417 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Abbad bin Mensuri, nga Ebu el-Melih el-Hudheliu, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Ishim me Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) në një udhëtim në një ditë me shi, kështu që ai urdhëroi një thirrës i cili thirri: Faluni në vendet tuaja (nëpër tenda)».
١٤١٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - فِي سَفَرٍ فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ، فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى: الصَّلَاةَ فِي الرِّحَالِ».
1417 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: 'Abbad ibn Mansur narrated to us, from Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali, from his father, who said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) on a journey on a rainy day, so he commanded a caller who called out: 'Pray in your dwellings.'"
