1430 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibn Ebi Dhibi dhe Zem'ah, nga ez-Zuhriu, nga Ubejdullah bin Abdilah bin Utbe, nga Zejd bin Halid el-Xhuheniu dhe nga Ebu Hurejra, të cilët kanë thënë: «Dy burra u grindën dhe erdhën te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.). Njëri prej tyre tha: Të betohem në Allahun, të gjykosh mes nesh me Librin e Allahut! Kundërshtari i tij u ngrit dhe tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, djali im ishte punëtor (asif) te ky - që do të thotë i punësuar - dhe ai bëri zina me gruan e tij. Unë dhashë si dëmshpërblim për të njëqind dele dhe një shërbëtor. Kur pyeta njerëzit e dijes, më njoftuan se djali im duhet të fshikullohet me njëqind goditje dhe të dëbohet një vit, ndërsa gruaja e këtij duhet të gurëzohet (rexhmi)! Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: Betohem në Atë, në dorën e të Cilit është shpirti im, do të gjykoj mes jush me Librin e Allahut; sa u përket njëqind deleve dhe shërbëtorit, ato të kthehen ty, ndërsa djali yt duhet të fshikullohet me njëqind goditje dhe të dëbohet një vit. Shko, o Unejs, te gruaja e këtij, e nëse ajo pranon, atëherë gurëzoje. Ai shkoi te ajo, e pyeti dhe ajo pranoi, kështu që ai e gurëzoi atë».

- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ
وَزَمْعَةُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، وَعَنْ أَبِي
هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَا: «اخْتَصَمَ رَجُلَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ -
فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا: أَنْشُدُكَ اللهَ لَمَا قَضَيْتَ بَيْنَنَا بِكِتَابِ
اللهِ، قَالَ: فَقَامَ خَصْمُهُ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ ابْنِي
كَانَ عَسِيفًا عَلَى هَذَا - يَعْنِي أَجِيرًا - وَإِنَّهُ زَنَى
بِامْرَأَتِهِ، فَافْتَدَيْتُ مِنْهُ بِمِائَةِ شَاةٍ وَخَادِمٍ، فَلَمَّا
سَأَلْتُ أَهْلَ الْعِلْمِ أَخْبَرُونِي أَنَّ عَلَى ابْنِي جَلْدَ مِائَةٍ
وَتَغْرِيبَ عَامٍ وَأَنَّ عَلَى امْرَأَةِ هَذَا الرَّجْمَ! فَقَالَ
رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَأَقْضِيَنَّ بَيْنَكُمَا
بِكِتَابِ اللهِ؛ أَمَّا الْمِائَةُ الشَّاةُ وَالْخَادِمُ فَهُمَا رَدٌّ
عَلَيْكَ، وَعَلَى ابْنِكَ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ وَتَغْرِيبُ عَامٍ، وَاغْدُ يَا
أُنَيْسُ عَلَى امْرَأَةِ هَذَا فَإِنِ اعْتَرَفَتْ فَارْجُمْهَا، فَغَدَا
عَلَيْهَا فَسَأَلَهَا فَاعْتَرَفَتْ، فَرَجَمَهَا».
1430 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b and Zam'ah narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Ubaydullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Utbah, from Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani, and from Abu Hurayrah, they both said: "Two men brought a dispute to the Messenger of Allah (saw). One of them said: 'I adjure you by Allah that you judge between us according to the Book of Allah.' His opponent stood up and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my son was a hired laborer (asif) for this man—meaning a servant—and he committed adultery with his wife. I ransomed him with a hundred sheep and a servant. When I asked the people of knowledge, they informed me that my son is to receive a hundred lashes and be exiled for a year, and that the wife of this man is to be stoned!' The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I will surely judge between you according to the Book of Allah; as for the hundred sheep and the servant, they are to be returned to you. Your son is to receive a hundred lashes and be exiled for a year. And go, O Unays, to the wife of this man, and if she confesses, then stone her.' So he went to her the next morning, questioned her, and she confessed, so he stoned her."
