1433 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Bekr el-Hannat, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Jahja bin Hani bin Urve bin Kias, nga Ebu Hudhejfe, nga Abdylmelik bin Alkame Ebu Alkame eth-Thekafi: "Se delegacioni i Thekifit erdhën te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe i dhanë një dhuratë. Ai tha: 'A është sadaka apo dhuratë? Sepse me sadakanë kërkohet kënaqësia e Allahut, ndërsa me dhuratën kërkohet pëlqimi i të Dërguarit dhe kryerja e ndonjë nevoje.' Pastaj ata filluan ta pyesnin dhe vazhduan ta pyesnin aq shumë, saqë nuk e falën drekën përveçse bashkë me ikindinë."

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَّاطُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ
هَانِئِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ قِعَاسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ
الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ «أَنَّ وَفْدَ
ثَقِيفَ قَدِمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - فَأَهْدَوْا إِلَيْهِ
هَدِيَّةً، فَقَالَ: أَصَدَقَةٌ أَمْ هَدِيَّةٌ؟ فَإِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ
يُبْتَغَى بِهَا وَجْهُ اللهِ، وَإِنَّ الْهَدِيَّةَ يُبْتَغَى بِهَا
وَجْهُ الرَّسُولِ وَقَضَاءُ الْحَاجَةِ، فَسَأَلُوهُ، فَمَا زَالُوا
يَسْأَلُونَهُ حَتَّى مَا صَلَّوُا الظُّهْرَ إِلَّا مَعَ الْعَصْرِ».
1433 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr al-Hannat narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Hani' bin 'Urwah bin Qi'as narrated to us, from Abu Hudhayfah, from 'Abd al-Malik bin 'Alqamah Abu 'Alqamah al-Thaqafi: "That the delegation of Thaqif came to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and presented him with a gift. He said: 'Is it charity (Sadaqah) or a gift (Hadiyah)? For charity is that by which the face of Allah is sought, and a gift is that by which the face of the Messenger and the fulfillment of a need are sought.' Then they questioned him, and they continued questioning him until they did not pray Dhuhr except with 'Asr."
