1443 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ibrahim b. Sa'di, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ez-Zuhriu, nga Sinan b. Ebi Sinan Ed-Dueli, nga Ebu Vakid El-Lejthi, i cili ka thënë:
«Ishim me të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) në Hunejn, ndërkohë që sapo kishim lënë kufrin (mosbesimin). Kaluam pranë një peme mbi të cilën mushrikët i varnin armët e tyre, e cila quhej Dhatu Envat. Ne thamë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, na bëj edhe neve një Dhatu Envat ashtu siç kanë ata një Dhatu Envat! Atëherë ai tha: Allahu Ekber! Keni thënë ashtu siç i thanë ithtarët e Librit Musait (a.s.): ﴿Na bëj edhe neve një zot ashtu siç kanë ata zota﴾. Pastaj i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: Vërtet, ju do të ndiqni rrugët e atyre që ishin para jush».

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ،
عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ أَبِي سِنَانٍ الدُّؤَلِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ
اللَّيْثِيِّ ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ - ﷺ - بِحُنَيْنٍ
وَنَحْنُ حَدِيثُو عَهْدٍ بِكُفْرٍ، فَمَرَرْنَا عَلَى شَجَرَةٍ يَضَعُ
الْمُشْرِكُونَ عَلَيْهَا أَسْلِحَتَهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهَا ذَاتُ أَنْوَاطٍ،
فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، اجْعَلْ لَنَا ذَاتَ أَنْوَاطٍ كَمَا لَهُمْ
ذَاتُ أَنْوَاطٍ! فَقَالَ: اللهُ أَكْبَرُ، قُلْتُمْ كَمَا قَالَ أَهْلُ
الْكِتَابِ لِمُوسَى ﵇ ﴿اجْعَلْ لَنَا إِلَهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ﴾،
ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنَّكُمْ سَتَرْكَبُونَ سَنَنَ مَنْ كَانَ
قَبْلَكُمْ».
1443 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim bin Sa'd narrated to us, he said: Az-Zuhri narrated to us, from Sinan bin Abi Sinan ad-Du'ali, from Abu Waqid al-Laythi, who said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (saw) at Hunayn, and we had recently left disbelief. We passed by a tree upon which the polytheists used to hang their weapons, which was called Dhat Anwat. We said: 'O Messenger of Allah, make for us a Dhat Anwat just as they have a Dhat Anwat!' He said: 'Allahu Akbar! You have said just as the People of the Scripture said to Moses (as): {Make for us a god as they have gods}.' Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Indeed, you will follow the ways of those who came before you.'"
