1464 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë:
Na ka treguar Er-Rebi' bin Subajh, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar Ata bin Ebi Rebahun duke thënë: «Ndërkohë që Ibn ez-Zubejri po na mbante hytbe, ai tha:
Ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.): 'Një namaz në këtë xhaminë time është më i vlefshëm se një mijë namaze në xhamitë e tjera, përveç Mesxhid el-Haramit. Ndërsa një namaz në Mesxhid el-Haram është më i vlefshëm se ai (në xhaminë time) për njëqind herë'.»
Atai tha: Pra, kjo është sikurse njëqind mijë namaze. Ai (transmetuesi) tha: I thashë: O Ebu Muhamed, kjo vlerë që po përmend është vetëm për Mesxhid el-Haramin apo për të gjithë Haremin? Ai tha: Jo, por për të gjithë Haremin, sepse i gjithë Haremi është xhami.

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي
رَبَاحٍ يَقُولُ: «بَيْنَمَا ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ يَخْطُبُنَا إِذْ قَالَ:
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ
صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ، وَصَلَاةٌ فِي
الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ تَفْضُلُ بِمِائَةٍ»، قَالَ عَطَاءٌ: فَكَأَنَّهُ
مِائَةُ أَلْفٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ، هَذَا الْفَضْلُ
الَّذِي تَذْكُرُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَحْدَهُ أَوْ فِي الْحَرَمِ؟
قَالَ: لَا، بَلْ فِي الْحَرَمِ، فَإِنَّ الْحَرَمَ كُلَّهُ مَسْجِدٌ.
1464 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Al-Rabi' bin Subayh narrated to us, he said: I heard 'Ata' bin Abi Rabah saying: "While Ibn al-Zubayr was delivering a sermon to us, he said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: 'A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers elsewhere, except for the Sacred Mosque (al-Masjid al-Haram), and a prayer in the Sacred Mosque is better by a hundred.'"
'Ata' said: So it is as if it is a hundred thousand.
He said: I said: O Abu Muhammad, is this virtue that you mention for the Sacred Mosque alone or for the [entire] Sanctuary (al-Haram)?
He said: No, rather it is in the Sanctuary, for the entire Sanctuary is a mosque.
