1758 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga el-Amashi, i cili ka thënë: Kam dëgjuar Ebu Vailin duke treguar nga Amër bin el-Harithi, nga Zejneb eth-Thekafije - gruaja e Abdullahut - se:
«I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u tha grave: "Jepni sadaka, qoftë edhe nga stolitë tuaja." Atëherë Zejnebja i tha Abdullahut: "A më pranohet nëse e jap sadakanë time te ti dhe te fëmijët e vëllait tim ose të motrës sime që janë jetimë?" Abdullahu ishte njeri me mundësi të pakta financiare, andaj i tha: "Pyete për këtë të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.)."
Zejnebja tha: Shkova te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe aty gjeta një grua nga Ensarët që quhej Zejneb, e cila kishte ardhur të pyeste për të njëjtën gjë që kisha ardhur të pyesja edhe unë. Atëherë doli Bilalli te ne dhe i thamë: "Pyete të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) - por mos i trego se kush jemi - a më pranohet nëse e jap sadakanë time te fëmijët e vëllait tim jetimë, ose te fëmijët e motrës sime jetimë që janë nën kujdesin tim?"
Ai shkoi te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe ia përmendi këtë. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Cila prej Zejnebeve është?" Ai u përgjigj: "Zejnebja, gruaja e Abdullah bin Mesudit, dhe një Zejnebe tjetër nga Ensarët." Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) i tha: "Tregoju atyre se ato kanë dy shpërblime: shpërblimin e afërsisë (farefisnisë) dhe shpërblimin e sadakasë."»

- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ
الْأَعْمَشِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ
الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ الثَّقَفِيَّةِ - امْرَأَةِ عَبْدِ اللهِ -
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِلنِّسَاءِ: تَصَدَّقْنَ وَلَوْ مِنْ
حُلِيِّكُنَّ فَقَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ: أَيُجْزِئُ عَنِّي أَنْ
أَضَعَ صَدَقَتِي فِيكَ وَفِي بَنِي أَخِي أَوْ أُخْتِي أَيْتَامٍ؟ وَكَانَ
عَبْدُ اللهِ خَفِيفَ ذَاتِ الْيَدِ، فَقَالَ: سَلِي عَنْ ذَاكَ رَسُولَ
اللهِ ﷺ، قَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ: فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ
مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُقَالُ لَهَا: زَيْنَبُ، جَاءَتْ تَسْأَلُ عَمَّا
جِئْتُ أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ، فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا بِلَالٌ، فَقُلْنَا لَهُ: سَلْ
رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَا تُخْبِرْهُ مَنْ نَحْنُ: أَيُجْزِئُ عَنِّي أَنْ
أَضَعَ صَدَقَتِي فِي بَنِي أَخِي أَيْتَامٍ، أَوْ بَنِي أُخْتِي أَيْتَامٍ
فِي حَجْرِي؟ فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ:
أَيُّ الزَّيَانِبِ هِيَ؟ فَقَالَ: زَيْنَبُ امْرَأَةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ
مَسْعُودٍ، وَزَيْنَبُ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ
اللهِ ﷺ: أَخْبِرْهُمَا أَنَّ لَهُمَا أَجْرَيْنِ؛ أَجْرَ الْقَرَابَةِ
وَأَجْرَ الصَّدَقَةِ».
1758 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Al-A'mash, who said: I heard Abu Wa'il narrating from 'Amr ibn al-Harith, from Zaynab al-Thaqafiyyah - the wife of 'Abdullah - that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said to the women: "Give charity, even if it be from your jewelry."
Zaynab said to 'Abdullah: "Would it suffice for me to give my charity to you and to the children of my brother or sister who are orphans?" 'Abdullah was a man of little means. He said: "Ask the Messenger of Allah (saw) about that."
Zaynab said: So I went to the Messenger of Allah (saw), and there was a woman from the Ansar called Zaynab, who had come to ask about the same thing I had come to ask about. Bilal came out to us, and we said to him: "Ask the Messenger of Allah (saw), but do not tell him who we are: Would it suffice for me to give my charity to the children of my brother who are orphans, or the children of my sister who are orphans, under my care?"
So he went to the Messenger of Allah (saw) and mentioned that to him. He (saw) asked: "Which of the Zaynabs is it?" He replied: "Zaynab the wife of 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, and a woman from the Ansar named Zaynab." The Messenger of Allah (saw) said to him: "Inform them both that they shall have two rewards: the reward of kinship and the reward of charity."
