1766 - Na ka treguar Junusi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Shube, nga Hubejb bin Abdurrahmani, i cili ka thënë: Më ka treguar halla ime, Unejsa, e cila ka thënë:
«Bilalli dhe Ibn Umm Mektumi thirrnin ezanin për Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.), andaj i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Bilalli thërret ezanin natën, prandaj hani dhe pini derisa të thërrasë ezanin Ibn Umm Mektumi'. Ne e mbanim Ibn Umm Mektumin nga ezani duke i thënë: 'Prit edhe pak derisa të hamë syfyrin, prit edhe pak derisa të hamë syfyrin'. Ndërmjet ezaneve të tyre nuk kishte më shumë kohë sesa që ky të zbriste e ky tjetri të ngjitej».

- حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ:
حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمَّتِي أُنَيْسَةُ ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ بِلَالٌ وَابْنُ أُمِّ
مَكْتُومٍ يُؤَذِّنَانِ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنَّ
بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ، فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُؤَذِّنَ ابْنُ
أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ فَكُنَّا نَحْبِسُ ابْنَ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ عَنِ الْأَذَانِ
فَنَقُولُ: كَمَا أَنْتَ حَتَّى نَتَسَحَّرَ، كَمَا أَنْتَ حَتَّى
نَتَسَحَّرَ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَ أَذَانِهِمَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَنْزِلَ
هَذَا وَيَصْعَدَ هَذَا».
1766 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Khubayb bin 'Abd al-Rahman, he said: My paternal aunt Unaysah narrated to me, she said:
'Bilal and Ibn Umm Maktum used to call the Adhan for the Prophet (saw). So the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Indeed, Bilal calls the Adhan during the night, so eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum calls the Adhan."
We used to hold back Ibn Umm Maktum from the Adhan, saying: "Stay as you are until we finish our Suhur, stay as you are until we finish our Suhur." And there was nothing between their two Adhans except for this one to descend and that one to ascend.'
