حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ فَسَلَّمَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ نَقَصَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ‏.‏
#1015 Abu Hurairah reported; The Prophet (ﷺ) offered the noon prayer and he gave the salutation at the end of two rakahs. He was asked. Has the prayer been shortened ? then he offered two rakahs of the prayer and made two prostrations (at the end of it).

Transmeton Ebu Hurejre: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) fali namazin e drekës dhe dha selam pas dy rekateve. Atij i u tha: "A është shkurtuar namazi?", kështu që ai i fali edhe dy rekate të tjera dhe pastaj i bëri dy sexhde.
