- وَعَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ «أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الشَّرَابِ فَقَالَ:
كُنَّا بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَكَانَتْ كَثِيرَةَ التَّمْرِ فَحَرَّمَ رَسُولُ
اللَّهِ - ﷺ - الْفَضِيخَ».

8092 - And on the authority of Ma'qil bin Yasar, that he was asked regarding drinks, so he said: "We were in Medina, and it was abundant in dates, and the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) prohibited al-Fadikh."
8092 - Dhe nga Ma'kil bin Jesari transmetohet se ai u pyet rreth pijeve, e ai tha:
'Ishim në Medine dhe ajo kishte shumë hurma, andaj i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e ndaloi fadhikhun (pijen prej hurmave të shtypura).'
