- وَعَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ «عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ زَيْدِ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ
أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ فَلَقِيَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ
الْخَمْرِ، فَقَالَ: سَأُخْبِرُكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ، إِنِّي كُنْتُ عِنْدَ
رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَبَيْنَا هُوَ مُحْتَبٍ حَلَّ
حَبْوَتَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " مَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الْخَمْرِ
فَلْيُؤْذِنِّي بِهِ ". فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَأْتُونَهُ، يَقُولُ
أَحَدُهُمْ: عِنْدِي رَاوِيَةُ خَمْرٍ، وَيَقُولُ الْآخَرُ: عِنْدِي
رِوَايَةٌ، وَيَقُولُ الْآخَرُ: عِنْدِي زِقَاقٌ، وَمَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ
يَكُونَ عِنْدَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ -: " اجْمَعُوهُ،
بِبَقِيعِ كَذَا وَكَذَا، ثُمَّ آذِنُونِي " فَفَعَلُوا، ثُمَّ آذَنُوهُ
فَقَامَ وَقُمْتُ مَعَهُ، فَمَشَيْتُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ
عَلَيَّ، فَلَحِقَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَأَخَذَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ -
فَجَعَلَنِي عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، وَجَعَلَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ مَكَانِي، ثُمَّ
لَحِقَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فَأَخَذَهُ فَجَعَلَهُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ
فَمَشَى بَيْنَنَا حَتَّى إِذَا وَقَفَ عَلَى الْخَمْرِ، قَالَ لِلنَّاسِ: "
أَتَعْرِفُونَ هَذَا؟ " قَالُوا: نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذِهِ
الْخَمْرُ، قَالَ: " صَدَقْتُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَنَ الْخَمْرَ،
وَعَاصِرَهَا، [وَمُعْتَصِرَهَا]، وَشَارِبَهَا، [وَسَاقِيَهَا]،
وَحَامِلَهَا، وَالْمَحْمُولَةَ إِلَيْهِ، وَبَائِعَهَا، وَمُشْتَرِيَهَا،
وَآكِلَ ثَمَنِهَا " ثُمَّ دَعَا بِسِكِّينٍ فَقَالَ: " اشْحَذُوهَا "
فَفَعَلُوا، ثُمَّ أَخَذَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - يُخَرِّقُ الزِّقَاقَ
فَقَالَ النَّاسُ: إِنَّ فِي هَذِهِ الْأَزْقَاقِ مَنْفَعَةً؟! قَالَ: "
نَعَمْ، وَلَكِنِّي إِنَّمَا أَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ غَضَبًا لِلَّهِ لِمَا فِيهَا
مِنْ سَخَطِهِ».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ. وَخَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ.

And on the authority of Khalid ibn Yazid, from Thabit ibn Zayd al-Khawlani, that he arrived in Medina and met Ibn Abbas and asked him about wine. He said: I will inform you about wine. I was with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in the mosque, and while he was sitting with his legs drawn up and wrapped in his garment, he untied his wrap, then said: "Whoever has any wine with him, let him inform me of it." People began coming to him; one would say: "I have a large vessel of wine," another would say: "I have a container," and another would say: "I have skins," and whatever else Allah willed for them to have. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Gather it at such-and-such place in al-Baqi', then inform me." They did so, and then they informed him. He stood up and I stood with him, walking on his right while he was leaning on me. Then Abu Bakr caught up with us, so the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) took me and placed me on his left and placed Abu Bakr in my position. Then Umar ibn al-Khattab caught up with us, so he took him and placed him on his left, and he walked between us until he stood over the wine. He said to the people: "Do you recognize this?" They said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, this is wine." He said: "You have spoken the truth. Indeed, Allah has cursed wine, the one who presses it, the one for whom it is pressed, the one who drinks it, the one who serves it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, and the one who consumes its price." Then he called for a knife and said: "Sharpen it." They did so, then the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) took it and began piercing the skins. The people said: "There is benefit in these skins!" He said: "Yes, but I only do this out of anger for Allah because of what they contain of His wrath."

- Dhe nga Khalid bin Jezid, «nga Thabit bin Zejd el-Haulani se ai erdhi në Medine dhe takoi Ibn Abbasin, e pyeti atë për alkoolin, e ai tha: Do të të tregoj për alkoolin. Isha me të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) në xhami, kur ai ishte ulur me këmbët e mbledhura (muhtebin), e zgjidhi rripin e tij (habveten), pastaj tha: "Kushdo që ka diçka nga alkooli, le të më njoftojë." Njerëzit filluan të vinin tek ai; njëri thoshte: Kam një enë të madhe me alkool, tjetri thoshte: Kam një enë, tjetri thoshte: Kam shakuj, dhe çfarëdo tjetër që Allahu deshi të kishin. I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Mblidheni atë në Baki' kështu e kështu, pastaj më njoftoni." Ata e bënë këtë, pastaj e njoftuan. Ai u ngrit dhe unë u ngrita me të. Eca në të djathtë të tij ndërsa ai ishte i mbështetur tek unë. Na arriti Ebu Bekri, kështu që i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) më mori dhe më vendosi në të majtë të tij, ndërsa Ebu Bekrin e vendosi në vendin tim. Pastaj na arriti Omer bin el-Hattabi, kështu që ai e mori dhe e vendosi në të majtë të tij, dhe eci mes nesh derisa u ndal para alkoolit. Ai u tha njerëzve: "A e njihni këtë?" Ata thanë: Po, o i Dërguari i Allahut, ky është alkooli. Ai tha: "Keni thënë të vërtetën. Me të vërtetë, Allahu e ka mallkuar alkoolin, atë që e shtrydh, [atë për të cilin shtrydhet], atë që e pi, [atë që e shërben], atë që e mbart, atë tek i cili mbartet, atë që e shet, atë që e blen dhe atë që e konsumon fitimin prej tij." Pastaj kërkoi një thikë dhe tha: "Mpreheni atë." Ata e bënë. Pastaj i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e mori atë dhe filloi të çante shakujt. Njerëzit thanë: Në këta shakuj ka dobi?! Ai tha: "Po, por unë po e bëj këtë nga zemërimi për Allahun, për shkak të asaj që përmban prej pakënaqësisë së Tij."
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu. Khalid bin Jezidin nuk e njoh, ndërsa pjesa tjetër e transmetuesve të tij janë të besueshëm.
