٨٣٧٢ - وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ:
«دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - عَلَى أَسْعَدَ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ وَبِهِ وَجَعٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ: الشَّوْكَةُ، فَكَوَاهُ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ فَمَاتَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ -: " بِئْسَ الْمَيِّتُ لِلْيَهُودِ يَقُولُونَ: قَدْ دَاوَاهُ صَاحِبُهُ فَمَا نَفَعَهُ» ".
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.
#8372 8372 - And from Abu Umama ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) entered upon As'ad ibn Zurara while he was suffering from an ailment called 'ash-shawka' (shingles/erysipelas). He cauterized him on his neck, but he passed away. The Prophet (pbuh) then said: 'What a wretched death [this provides an opportunity] for the Jews; they will say: His companion treated him, but it did not benefit him.'"

8372 - Dhe nga Ebu Umame bin Sehl bin Hunejf ka thënë:
«I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) hyri te Es'ad bin Zurare, i cili kishte një dhimbje që quhej: esh-Shevkeh, dhe e kuterizoi në qafën e tij, por ai vdiq. Atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Sa vdekje e keqe për jehuditë; ata do të thonë: 'Shoku i tij e mjekoi, por nuk i bëri dobi'."»
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu dhe burrat e tij janë burrat e Sahihut.
