Hadith #8426 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

٨٤٢٦ - «وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - خَرَجَ مَعَهُ وَسَارَ مَعَهُ نَحْوَ مَكَّةَ، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِشِعْبِ الْخَرَّارِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ اغْتَسَلَ سَهْلُ بْنُ حُنَيْفٍ، وَكَانَ رَجُلًا أَبْيَضَ حَسَنَ الْجِسْمِ وَالْجِلْدِ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ عَامِرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ أَخُو بَنِي عَدِيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ وَهُوَ يَغْتَسِلُ فَقَالَ: مَا رَأَيْتُ كَالْيَوْمِ وَلَا جِلْدَ مُخَبَّأَةٍ، فَلُبِطَ سَهْلٌ، فَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلْ لَكَ فِي سَهْلٍ؟ وَاللَّهِ مَا يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ وَلَا يُفِيقُ، قَالَ: " هَلْ تَتَّهِمُونَ فِيهِ مَنْ أَحَدٍ؟ " قَالُوا: عَامِرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ، فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - عَامِرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ، فَتَغَيَّظَ عَلَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: " عَلَامَ يَقْتُلُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ؟ هَلَّا إِذَا رَأَيْتَ مَا يُعْجِبُكَ بَرَّكْتَ؟! " ثُمَّ قَالَ: اغْتَسِلْ. فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَمَرْفِقَيْهِ وَرُكْبَتَيْهِ وَأَطْرَافَ رِجْلَيْهِ وَدَاخِلَةَ إِزَارِهِ فِي قَدَحٍ، ثُمَّ صَبَّ ذَلِكَ الْمَاءَ عَلَيْهِ، يَصُبُّهُ رَجُلٌ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَظَهْرِهِ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ، ثُمَّ يُلْقِي الْقَدَحَ وَرَاءَهُ، فَفَعَلَ بِهِ ذَلِكَ، فَرَاحَ سَهْلٌ مَعَ النَّاسِ لَيْسَ بِهِ بَأْسٌ».
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَزَادَ: وَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ.

#8426 8426 - And from Sahl ibn Hunayf that the Prophet (pbuh) went out with him and traveled with him toward Mecca, until when he was at the Valley of al-Kharrar in al-Juhfah, Sahl ibn Hunayf performed a bath. He was a man of fair complexion and had a beautiful body and skin. ‘Amir ibn Rabi’ah, a brother of the Banu ‘Adi ibn Ka’b, looked at him while he was bathing and said: "I have never seen the like of what I see today, not even the skin of a secluded maiden." Sahl then collapsed to the ground. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was approached and it was said: "O Messenger of Allah, can you do anything for Sahl? By Allah, he cannot lift his head nor does he regain consciousness." He said: "Do you suspect anyone regarding him?" They said: "‘Amir ibn Rabi’ah." The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) then summoned ‘Amir ibn Rabi’ah and spoke angrily to him, saying: "Why would one of you kill his brother? Why did you not supplicate for blessing when you saw what pleased you?" Then he said: "Wash for him." So he washed his face, his hands, his elbows, his knees, the extremities of his feet, and the inner part of his lower garment into a vessel. Then that water was poured over him; a man poured it over his head and back from behind him, and then he turned the vessel over behind him. That was done to him, and Sahl departed with the people, and there was nothing wrong with him.

- «Dhe nga Sehl bin Hunejfi transmetohet se Pejgamberi - (s.a.v.s.) - doli me të dhe udhëtoi me të drejt Mekës, derisa kur arritën në Shi'b el-Kharrar nga el-Xhuhfeh, Sehl bin Hunejfi u la, e ai ishte një burrë i bardhë, me trup dhe lëkurë të bukur. Amir bin Rabi'ah, vëllai i Beni Adij bin Ka'bit, e shikoi atë ndërsa po lahej dhe tha: "Nuk kam parë si sot, as lëkurën e një virgjëreshe të mbuluar." Atëherë Sehli u rrëzua përtokë.

Erdhën te i Dërguari i Allahut - (s.a.v.s.) - dhe i thanë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, a mund të bësh diçka për Sehlin? Për Allahun, ai nuk e ngre kokën dhe nuk i vjen vetëdija." Ai tha: "A dyshoni te dikush për këtë?" Ata thanë: "Amir bin Rabi'ah."

Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut - (s.a.v.s.) - e thirri Amir bin Rabi'ah-n, u zemërua me të dhe tha: "Përse dikush prej jush e vret vëllanë e vet? Pse nuk kërkove bekim kur pe atë që të pëlqeu?!" Pastaj tha: "Lahu." Ai lau fytyrën e tij, duart, bërrylat, gjunjët, anët e këmbëve dhe pjesën e brendshme të rrobës së tij në një enë, pastaj ai ujë u derdh mbi të, një burrë e derdhi atë mbi kokën dhe shpinën e tij nga mbrapa, pastaj e hodhi enën pas tij. Pasi u veprua kështu me të, Sehli u nis me njerëzit dhe nuk kishte asgjë të keqe.»
