- وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهَبٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ «أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا أَتَى
النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَكَلَتْنَا الضَّبْعُ،
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ -: " غَيْرُ الضَّبْعِ عِنْدِي أَخْوَفُ
عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الضَّبْعِ، إِنِ الدُّنْيَا سَتُصَبُّ عَلَيْكُمْ صَبًّا،
فَيَا لَيْتَ أُمَّتِي لَا تَلْبَسُ الذَّهَبَ» ".
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ،
وَالْبَزَّارُ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ
يُكْتَبُ حَدِيثُهُ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.

And from Zayd ibn Wahb, from a man, that a Bedouin came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the hyena has consumed us." Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Something other than the hyena is more feared by me for you than the hyena. Indeed, the world shall be poured upon you in abundance; how I wish my nation would not wear gold."

- Dhe nga Zejd bin Vehbi, nga një burrë: «Një beduin erdhi te
Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, na hëngri hiena,
i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Përveç hienës, unë kam frikë
për ju diçka tjetër më shumë sesa hienën. Me të vërtetë, bota do t'ju derdhet juve me bollëk,
andaj ah sikur umeti im të mos vishte arin"».
E ka transmetuar Ahmedi,
dhe el-Bezzari, dhe në të është Jezid bin Ebi Zijad, i cili është i dobët
shënohet hadithi i tij, ndërsa pjesa tjetër e burrave të tij janë burra të Sahihut.
