- وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ
-: " «إِنَّ مِنْ إِكْرَامِ جَلَالِ اللَّهِ إِكْرَامُ ذِي الشَّيْبَةِ
الْمُسْلِمِ، وَالْإِمَامِ الْعَادِلِ، وَحَامِلِ الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَغْلُو
فِيهِ، وَلَا يَجْفُو عَنْهُ» ".
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي
الْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي
الْجَوْنِ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَدُحَيْمٌ، وَضَعَّفَهُ أَبُو
دَاوُدَ وَغَيْرُهُ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ.

9086 - And on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Indeed, among the forms of honoring the Majesty of Allah is honoring the grey-haired Muslim, the just ruler, and the bearer of the Quran who neither exceeds its bounds nor neglects it."

- Dhe nga Xhabir bin Abdullah ka thënë: Ka thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.):
-: " «Vërtet, prej nderimit të Madhështisë së Allahut është nderimi i muslimanit të moshuar, i udhëheqësit të drejtë dhe i mbartësit të Kuranit që nuk e tepron me të dhe as nuk e neglizhon atë» ".
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu në 'el-Evsat'. Në të është Abdurrahman bin Sulejman bin Ebi el-Xheun; atë e ka konsideruar të besueshëm Ibn Hibbani dhe Duhejmi, ndërsa e ka konsideruar të dobët Ebu Davudi dhe të tjerë, kurse pjesa tjetër e transmetuesve të tij janë të besueshëm.
