- وَعَنْ جُنَادَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ: «نَزَلْنَا دَابِقَ
وَعَلَيْنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ فَبَلَغَ حَبِيبَ بْنَ
مَسْلَمَةَ أَنَّ صَاحِبَ قُبْرُسَ خَرَجَ يُرِيدُ بِطْرِيقَ
أَذْرَبِيجَانَ وَمَعَهُ زُمُرُّدٌ وَيَاقُوتٌ وَلُؤْلُؤٌ وَذَهَبٌ
وَدِيبَاجٌ فَخَرَجَ فِي خَيْلٍ فَقَتَلَهُ وَجَاءَ بِمَا مَعَهُ فَأَرَادَ
أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ أَنْ يُخَمِّسَهُ فَقَالَ حَبِيبٌ: لَا تَحْرِمْنِي
رِزْقًا رَزَقَنِيهِ اللَّهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - جَعَلَ
السَّلَبَ لِلْقَاتِلِ. فَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ: يَا حَبِيبُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ
رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: " إِنَّمَا لِلْمَرْءِ مَا طَابَتْ بِهِ
نَفْسُ إِمَامِهِ».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ وَاقِدٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ.

9697 - And from Junadah bin Abi Umayyah, who said: We stayed at Dabiq while Abu Ubaidah bin al-Jarrah was our commander. It reached Habib bin Maslamah that the ruler of Cyprus had set out intending to reach the Patrician of Azerbaijan, and with him were emeralds, rubies, pearls, gold, and silk brocade. So he went out with a troop of cavalry, killed him, and brought what was with him. Abu Ubaidah intended to take the fifth (khumus) from it, but Habib said: Do not deprive me of a provision that Allah has provided for me, for the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) assigned the spoils of the slain (salab) to the killer. Mu'adh then said: O Habib, indeed I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) say: "A person is only entitled to that which his leader's soul is pleased to give."
9697 - Dhe nga Xhunade b. Ebi Umeje ka thënë: «U ndalëm në Dabik dhe mbi ne (komandant) ishte Ebu Ubejde b. el-Xherrah. Habib b. Meslemes i mbërriti lajmi se sundimtari i Qipros kishte dalë duke synuar patrikun e Azerbajxhanit, dhe me vete kishte smeraldë, rubinë, margaritarë, ar dhe mëndafsh. Kështu, ai doli me një kalorësi, e vrau atë dhe solli atë që kishte me vete. Ebu Ubejde deshi t'i merrte të pestën (humusin), por Habibi tha: 'Mos ma privo rrizkun që ma dha Allahu, sepse i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e ka caktuar plaçkën e luftës (selebin) për vrasësin.' Atëherë Muadhi tha: 'O Habib, unë e kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: "Njeriut i takon vetëm ajo që ia jep udhëheqësi i tij me dëshirë"».
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu në 'el-Kebir' dhe 'el-Evsat', dhe në të është Amër b. Vakid, i cili është i braktisur (metruk).
