- وَعَنْ أَبِي السَّلِيلِ قَالَ: «كَانَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ
النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - يُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يُكْثِرَ، فَيَصْعَدُ عَلَى
ظَهْرِ بَيْتٍ فَيُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ -: "
أَيُّ آيَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ أَعْظَمُ؟ ". قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: ﴿اللَّهُ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ﴾ [البقرة: ٢٥٥]. قَالَ:
فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ بَرْدَهَا بَيْنَ
ثَدْيَيَّ. أَوْ قَالَ مَوْضِعَ يَدَهُ بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيَّ حَتَّى وَجَدْتُ
بَرَدَهَا بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ. قَالَ: " يَهْنِكَ يَا أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ».
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.

10873 - And on the authority of Abu al-Salil, who said: There was a man from the companions of the Prophet (pbuh) who used to narrate to the people until they became numerous, so he would ascend the roof of a house and narrate to the people. He said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Which verse in the Qur'an is the greatest?" He said: Then a man said: "Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence" [Al-Baqarah: 255]. He said: Then he placed his hand between my shoulders until I felt its coolness between my breasts. Or he said: the position of his hand was between my breasts until I felt its coolness between my shoulders. He said: "May knowledge be pleasant for you, O Abu al-Mundhir."

- Dhe nga Ebu es-Selili ka thënë: «Një burrë prej shokëve të Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) u fliste njerëzve derisa ata u shtuan shumë, kështu që ai u ngjit mbi çatinë e një shtëpie dhe u fliste njerëzve. Ai tha: I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Cili ajet në Kuran është më i madhështori?". Ai tha: Një burrë tha: {Allahu, nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Tij, i Gjalli, i Përjetshmi} [el-Bekare: 255]. Ai tha: Atëherë ai e vendosi dorën e tij mes shpatullave të mia derisa e ndjeva ftohtësinë e saj mes gjoksit tim. Ose tha: vendin e dorës së tij mes gjoksit tim derisa e ndjeva ftohtësinë e saj mes shpatullave të mia. Ai tha: "Të qoftë e dobishme (dija), o Ebu el-Mundhir!"».
