- وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: «كَانَ الْعَرَبُ يُحِلُّونَ
عَامًا شَهْرًا وَعَامًا شَهْرَيْنِ، وَلَا يُصِيبُونَ الْحَجَّ إِلَّا فِي
كُلِّ سِتَّةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً مَرَّةً، وَهُوَ النَّسِيءُ الَّذِي
ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ - ﷿ - فِي كِتَابِهِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ عَامُ حَجِّ أَبِي
بَكْرٍ بِالنَّاسِ، وَافَقَ ذَلِكَ الْعَامُ الْحَجَّ، فَسَمَّاهُ اللَّهُ
الْحَجَّ الْأَكْبَرَ، ثُمَّ حَجَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - مِنَ الْعَامِ
الْمُقْبِلِ، فَاسْتَقْبَلَ النَّاسُ الْأَهِلَّةَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ
اللَّهِ - ﷺ -: " إِنَّ الزَّمَانَ قَدِ اسْتَدَارَ كَهَيْئَتِهِ يَوْمَ
خَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ.

11038 - And from Abdullah bin Umar, who said: "The Arabs used to treat one month as permissible in one year and two months as permissible in another year, and they would not coincide with the [correct time of] Hajj except once every twenty-six years. This is the postponement (al-Nasi') which Allah - Mighty and Majestic is He - mentioned in His Book. When it was the year that Abu Bakr led the people in Hajj, that year coincided with the [actual] Hajj, and so Allah named it the Day of the Great Pilgrimage (al-Hajj al-Akbar). Then the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) performed Hajj the following year, and the people observed the new moons. Then the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: 'Indeed, time has completed its cycle to its original state as it was on the day Allah created the heavens and the earth.'"

- Dhe nga Abdullah bin Umar ka thënë: «Arabët e bënin të lejuar një muaj në një vit dhe dy muaj në një vit tjetër, dhe nuk e qëllonin kohën e saktë të Haxhit përveçse një herë në çdo njëzet e gjashtë vjet. Ky është 'en-Nasi' (shtyrja), të cilin Allahu - i Madhëruar - e ka përmendur në Librin e Tij. Kur ishte viti i Haxhit të Ebu Bekrit me njerëzit, ai vit përkoi me kohën e saktë të Haxhit, prandaj Allahu e quajti atë 'Haxhi i Madh' (el-Haxh el-Ekber). Pastaj i Dërguari i Allahut - (s.a.v.s.) - kreu Haxhin në vitin e ardhshëm, njerëzit vëzhguan hënat e reja, dhe i Dërguari i Allahut - (s.a.v.s.) - tha: "Vërtet koha është rrotulluar në formën e saj siç ishte ditën kur Allahu krijoi qiejt dhe tokën".»
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu në 'el-Evsat' dhe burrat e tij janë të besueshëm.
