Hadith #11043 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

١١٠٤٣ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «لَمَّا أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ - أَنْ يَخْرُجَ إِلَى غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ قَالَ لِلْجَدِّ بْنِ قَيْسٍ: " مَا تَقُولُ فِي مُجَاهَدَةِ بَنِي الْأَصْفَرِ؟ ". قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي امْرُؤٌ صَاحِبُ نِسَاءٍ، وَمَتَى أَرَى نِسَاءَ بَنِي الْأَصْفَرِ أَفْتَتِنُ، أَفَتَأْذَنُ لِي فِي الْجُلُوسِ وَلَا تَفْتِنِّي؟ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ: ﴿وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ ائْذَنْ لِي وَلَا تَفْتِنِّي أَلَا فِي الْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُوا﴾ [التوبة: ٤٩]».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.

#11043 On the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said: "When the Prophet (pbuh) intended to set out for the Battle of Tabuk, he said to Al-Jadd ibn Qays: 'What do you say regarding the struggle against the Byzantines (Bani al-Asfar)?' He replied: 'O Messenger of Allah, I am a man with a strong attraction to women, and when I see the women of the Byzantines, I am enticed. Will you permit me to remain behind and not put me to trial?' So Allah revealed: {And among them is he who says, 'Permit me [to remain at home] and do not put me to trial.' Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen} [At-Tawbah: 49]."

- Nga Ibn Abbasi ka thënë: «Kur Pejgamberi - (s.a.v.s.) - deshi të dilte në betejën e Tebukut, i tha el-Xhed b. Kajsit: "Çfarë thua për luftën kundër Beni el-Asfarëve?". Ai tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, unë jam një njeri që i pëlqej shumë gratë, dhe kur t'i shoh gratë e Beni el-Asfarëve, do të tundohem. A më jep leje të qëndroj dhe të mos më vësh në sprovë? Atëherë Allahu shpalli: ﴿Prej tyre ka që thonë: "Më jep leje e mos më vër në sprovë!" Ja, ata ranë pikërisht në sprovë﴾ [et-Teube: 49]».
