١١١٢٨ - عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ - ﷺ - بِالْحِجْرِ قَالَ: " «لَا تَسْأَلُوا الْآيَاتِ فَقَدْ سَأَلَهَا قَوْمُ صَالِحٍ، فَكَانَتْ تَرِدُ مِنْ هَذَا الْفَجِّ، فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَعَقَرُوهَا [فَكَانَتْ تَشْرَبُ مَاءَهُمْ يَوْمًا، وَيَشْرَبُونَ لَبَنَهَا يَوْمًا، فَعَقَرُوهَا]، فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَيْحَةٌ أَهَمَدَ اللَّهُ مَنْ تَحْتَ أَدِيمِ السَّمَاءِ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا رَجُلًا وَاحِدًا كَانَ فِي حَرَمِ اللَّهِ ". قِيلَ: مَنْ هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: " أَبُو رِغَالٍ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْحَرَمِ أَصَابَهُ مَا أَصَابَ قَوْمَهُ».
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَزَّارُ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ أَتَمَّ مِنْهُ، وَتَقَدَّمَ فِي سُورَةِ هُودٍ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.
#11128 11128 - On the authority of Jabir, who said: When the Prophet (pbuh) passed by al-Hijr, he said: "Do not ask for signs, for the people of Salih asked for them. It used to arrive from this mountain pass, but they were insolent regarding the command of their Lord and hamstrung it. [It used to drink their water one day, and they would drink its milk one day, then they hamstrung it]. So a blast seized them, and Allah extinguished whoever was under the surface of the sky among them except for one man who was in the Sanctuary of Allah." It was asked: "Who is he, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Abu Righal. When he departed from the Sanctuary, that which had afflicted his people afflicted him."

- Nga Xhabiri ka thënë: Kur Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) kaloi pranë el-Hixhrit, tha: "Mos kërkoni shenja (mrekulli), sepse populli i Salihut i kërkoi ato. Ajo (deveja) vinte nga kjo grykë, por ata u treguan kryeneçë ndaj urdhrit të Zotit të tyre dhe e therrën atë. [Ajo pinte ujin e tyre një ditë, dhe ata pinin qumështin e saj një ditë, pastaj ata e therrën atë]. Atëherë i kapi ata një britmë, me të cilën Allahu shkatërroi çdo njeri prej tyre që ishte nën kupën e qiellit, përveç një njeriu që ishte në Haremin e Allahut." U tha: "Kush është ai, o i Dërguari i Allahut?" Ai tha: "Ebu Rigali. Kur doli nga Haremi, e goditi atë që goditi popullin e tij."
E ka transmetuar Ahmedi, el-Bezzari dhe et-Taberaniu në 'el-Evsat' më plotësisht se kjo, dhe ka kaluar në suren Hud. Burrat e Ahmedit janë burrat e Sahihut.
