Hadith #11448 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

١١٤٤٨ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ «أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ صَنَعَ لِقُرَيْشٍ طَعَامًا، فَلَمَّا أَكَلُوا قَالَ: مَا تَقُولُونَ فِي هَذَا الرَّجُلِ؟ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: سَاحِرٌ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: لَيْسَ بِسَاحِرٍ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: كَاهِنٌ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: لَيْسَ بِكَاهِنٍ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: شَاعِرٌ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: لَيْسَ بِشَاعِرٍ، وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: سِحْرٌ يُؤْثَرُ. [وَأُجْمِعَ قَوْلُهُمْ عَلَى أَنَّهُ سِحْرٌ يُؤْثَرُ] فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَحَزِنَ وَقَنَّعَ رَأْسَهُ وَتَدَثَّرَ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ - ﷿ - ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ - قُمْ فَأَنْذِرْ - وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ - وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ - وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ - وَلَا تَمْنُنْ تَسْتَكْثِرُ - وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ﴾ [المدثر: ١ - ٧]».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْخُوزِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ.

#11448 11448 - On the authority of Ibn Abbas, that al-Walid ibn al-Mughira prepared food for the Quraysh, and when they had eaten, he said: "What do you say regarding this man?" Some of them said: "A sorcerer," and some of them said: "He is not a sorcerer." Some of them said: "A soothsayer," and some of them said: "He is not a soothsayer." Some of them said: "A poet," and some of them said: "He is not a poet." And some of them said: "It is sorcery related from others." [And their consensus was reached upon the statement that it is sorcery related from others.] News of that reached the Prophet (pbuh), and he became grieved, covered his head, and wrapped himself in his garments. Then Allah - Mighty and Majestic - revealed: {O you who covers himself [with a garment], Arise and warn, And your Lord glorify, And your clothing purify, And idols avoid, And do not confer favor to acquire more, And for your Lord be patient} [al-Muddaththir: 1-7].

11448 - Nga Ibn Abbasi «se el-Velid b. el-Mugira përgatiti ushqim për Kurejshët. Pasi hëngrën, ai tha: Çfarë thoni për këtë njeri? Disa prej tyre thanë: Magjistar, ndërsa disa të tjerë thanë: Nuk është magjistar. Disa thanë: Parashikues, ndërsa disa të tjerë thanë: Nuk është parashikues. Disa thanë: Poet, ndërsa disa të tjerë thanë: Nuk është poet. Disa thanë: Magji e trashëguar. [Dhe mendimi i tyre u bashkua se ai është magji e trashëguar]. Kjo i arriti Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.), kështu që ai u trishtua, mbuloi kokën e tij dhe u mbështoll. Atëherë Allahu i Madhëruar shpalli: ﴿O ti i mbështjellë! - Ngrihu dhe paralajmëro! - Dhe Zotin tënd madhëroje! - Dhe rrobat e tua pastroji! - Dhe ndyrësisë largoju! - Dhe mos jep diçka me qëllim që të marrësh më shumë! - Dhe për Zotin tënd duro!﴾ [el-Mudethir: 1 - 7]».

E ka transmetuar et-Taberaniu, dhe në të është Ibrahim b. Jezid el-Huziu, i cili është i braktisur (metruk).
