١١٥٠٣ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ: لَئِنْ عَادَ مُحَمَّدٌ يُصَلِّي إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ لَأَقْتُلَنَّهُ، فَعَادَ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ - ﷿ - ﴿اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ﴾ [العلق: ١] إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ﴿فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُ - سَنَدْعُ الزَّبَانِيَةَ﴾ [العلق: ١٧ - ١٨] فَلَمَّا قِيلَ لِأَبِي جَهْلٍ إِنَّهُ عَادَ، قَالَ: لَقَدْ حِيلَ مَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: وَاللَّهِ لَوْ تَحَرَّكَ لَأَخَذَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالنَّاسُ يَنْظُرُونَ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَشَّاءُ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.
#11503 11503 - And on the authority of Ibn Abbas, who said: Abu Jahl said, "If Muhammad (pbuh) returns to pray toward the Qibla, I will surely kill him." So he (pbuh) returned, and Allah - the Mighty and Majestic - revealed: {Recite in the name of your Lord who created} [Al-Alaq: 1] until His saying: {Then let him call his associates - We will call the guards of Hell} [Al-Alaq: 17-18]. When it was said to Abu Jahl that he (pbuh) had returned, he said: "A barrier was placed between me and him." Ibn Abbas said: "By Allah, had he moved, the angels would have seized him while the people were looking on."

- Dhe nga Ibn Abbasi transmetohet se ka thënë: Ebu Xhehli tha: Nëse Muhamedi (s.a.v.s.) kthehet sërish të falet drejt Kiblës, unë do ta vras atë. Ai u kthye (u fal), dhe Allahu - i Madhëruar - shpalli: ﴿Lexo me emrin e Zotit tënd, i Cili krijoi﴾ [el-Alak: 1] deri te fjala e Tij: ﴿Le ta thërrasë ai shoqërinë e vet - Ne do t'i thërrasim rojet e xhehenemit (Zebanitë)﴾ [el-Alak: 17-18]. Kur i thanë Ebu Xhehlit se ai u kthye, ai tha: Vërtet, diçka u ndërhye mes meje dhe atij. Ibn Abbasi tha: Pasha Allahun, sikur të kishte lëvizur, do ta kishin rrëmbyer engjëjt ndërsa njerëzit do ta shikonin.
E transmeton Taberaniu në el-Evsat, dhe në të është Musa bin Sehl el-Vesha, i cili është i dobët.
