#11508 11508 - And from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Indeed, Allah has commanded me to recite to you." He said: So he recited to me: "{Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted until there came to them clear evidence - A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified pages - Within which are correct writings - Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence}" [Al-Bayyinah: 1-4]. "Indeed, the religion with Allah is the primordial monotheism (Al-Hanifiyyah), not polytheistic, nor Jewish, nor Christian; and whoever does good shall never be denied its reward." Shu'bah said: Then he recited verses after it, then he recited: "If the son of Adam had two valleys of wealth, he would seek a third, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust." He said: Then he concluded what remained of the Surah.
