١١٦٨٠ - وَعَنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: لَوْ قِيلَ لَأَحَدِكُمْ: لَوْ غَدَوْتَ إِلَى الْقَرْيَةِ كَانَ لَكَ أَرْبَعُ قَلَائِصَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ: قَدْ أَبَى اللَّهُ لِي أَنْ أَغْدُوَ، وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ غَدَا فَتَعَلَّمَ آيَةً مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ خَيْرًا لَهُ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ وَأَرْبَعٍ وَأَرْبَعٍ، حَتَّى عَدَّ شَيْئًا كَثِيرًا.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ، إِلَّا أَنَّ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ.
#11680 11680 - And on the authority of Abu Ishaq, who said: Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: "If it were said to one of you: 'If you went out early to the village, you would have four young she-camels,' he would say: 'Allah has refused for me to go early.' Yet, if one of you went out early and learned a verse from the Book of Allah, it would be better for him than four, and four, and four," until he had counted a great many.

11680 - Dhe nga Ebu Is'haku transmetohet se ka thënë: Abdullah bin Mes'udi ka thënë:
"Sikur t'i thuhej ndonjërit prej jush: 'Sikur të shkoje në fshat, do të kishe katër deve të reja', ai do të thoshte: 'Allahu nuk ka dashur që unë të shkoj'. Por, sikur ndonjëri prej jush të shkonte e të mësonte një ajet nga Libri i Allahut, kjo do të ishte më mirë për të sesa katër, e katër, e katër...", derisa numëroi shumë prej tyre.
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu, dhe transmetuesit e tij janë transmetues të Sahihut, përveç se Ebu Is'haku nuk ka dëgjuar nga Ibn Mes'udi.
