Hadith #11964 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

١١٩٦٤ - عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ قَالَ: «جَاءَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ فِي بَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ - قَرْيَةٌ مِنْ قُرَى الْأَنْصَارِ - فَقَالَ: هَلْ تَدْرِي أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - فِي مَسْجِدِكُمْ هَذَا؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ. فَأَشَارَ إِلَى نَاحِيَةٍ مِنْهُ، قَالَ: هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الثَّلَاثُ الَّتِي دَعَا بِهِنَّ فِيهِ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِهِنَّ. فَقُلْتُ: دَعَا " بِأَنْ لَا يُظْهِرَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَدُوًّا مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ، وَأَنْ لَا يُهْلِكَهُمْ بِالسِّنِينَ ". فَأُعْطِيهِمَا. وَدَعَا " بِأَنْ لَا يُجْعَلَ بَأْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ". فَمُنِعَهَا. قَالَ: صَدَقْتَ. فَلَا يَزَالُ الْهَرْجُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ».
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ.

#11964 11964 - From Jabir ibn Atik, who said: Abdullah ibn Umar came to us in Bani Mu'awiya—a village among the villages of the Ansar—and said: "Do you know where the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) prayed in this mosque of yours?" I said: "Yes." Then he pointed to a corner of it. He said: "Do you know the three things for which he supplicated therein?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Then inform me of them." I said: He supplicated "that He should not grant victory over them to an enemy from outside their own ranks, and that He should not destroy them by years of famine." These two were granted to them. And he supplicated "that He should not cause their strife to be among themselves," but he was denied it. He (Ibn Umar) said: "You have spoken the truth; therefore, chaos (al-Harj) shall continue until the Day of Resurrection."

- Prej Xhabir bin Atik, i cili ka thënë: «Na erdhi Abdullah bin Umeri te Beni Muavije - një fshat prej fshatrave të Ensarëve - dhe tha: A e di se ku u fal i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) në këtë xhaminë tuaj? Thashë: Po. Dhe tregova me shenjë nga një anë e saj. Ai tha: A i di të tria gjërat për të cilat ai u lut aty? Thashë: Po. Ai tha: Më trego për to. Thashë: Ai u lut "që të mos u mundësojë një armik të huaj të triumfojë mbi ta, dhe që të mos i shkatërrojë ata me zi buke (vitet e thatësisë)". Këto dyja iu dhanë. Dhe u lut "që të mos e bëjë luftën (përçarjen) mes tyre". Kjo iu refuzua. Ai tha: Ke thënë të vërtetën. Prandaj, do të vazhdojë vrasja (el-herxh) deri në Ditën e Kiametit».
E ka transmetuar Ahmedi dhe burrat e tij janë të besueshëm.
