١٢٠٠٩ - وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ أَصْبَحَ يُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فِي الْمَنَامِ، فَقَالَ: يَا عُثْمَانُ، أَفْطِرْ عِنْدَنَا، فَأَصْبَحَ صَائِمًا، وَقُتِلَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ - ﵁ وَكَرَّمَ وَجْهَهُ -.
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْبَزَّارُ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ.
#12009 12009 - And on the authority of Ibn Umar, that Uthman began the morning narrating to the people, saying: "I saw the Prophet (pbuh) in a dream, and he said: 'O Uthman, break your fast with us.'" So he started the day fasting and was killed on that same day—may Allah be pleased with him and honor his countenance.

- Dhe nga Ibn Umeri transmetohet se Uthmani u gdhi duke u treguar njerëzve:
Tha: Pashë Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.) në ëndërr, e ai tha: O Uthman, ha iftar tek ne. Kështu, ai u gdhi agjërueshëm dhe u vra po atë ditë - (r.a.).
E ka transmetuar Ebu Jala në 'el-Kebir' dhe el-Bezzari, dhe në të ka transmetues që nuk i njoh.
