١٢٠٤٨ - وَعَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ: شَهِدْنَا مَعَ عَلِيٍّ صِفِّينَ، وَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِفَرَسِهِ رَجُلَيْنِ، فَكَانَتْ إِذَا كَانَتْ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ غَفْلَةٌ غَمَزَ عَلِيٌّ فَرَسَهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ فِي عَسْكَرِ الْقَوْمِ فَيَرْجِعُ إِلَيْنَا وَقَدْ خَضَّبَ سَيْفَهُ دَمًا وَيَقُولُ: يَا أَصْحَابِي، اعْذُرُونِي اعْذُرُونِي. فَكُنَّا إِذَا تَوَادَعْنَا دَخَلَ هَؤُلَاءِ فِي عَسْكَرِ هَؤُلَاءِ، فَكَانَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ عَلَمًا لِأَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ - ﷺ - لَا يَسْلُكُ عَمَّارٌ وَادِيًا مِنْ أَوْدِيَةِ صِفِّينَ إِلَّا تَبِعَهُ أَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ - ﷺ - فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى هَاشِمِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، وَقَدْ رَكَزَ الرَّايَةَ، فَقَالَ: مَا لَكَ يَا هَاشِمُ أَعَوَرًا
وَجُبْنًا؟ لَا خَيْرَ فِي أَعْوَرَ لَا يَغْشَى النَّاسَ. فَنَزَعَ هَاشِمٌ الرَّايَةَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: أَعْوَرُ يَبْغِي أَهْلَهُ مَحَلًّا
قَدْ عَالَجَ الْحَيَاةَ حَتَّى مَلَّا ... لَا بُدَّ أَنْ يَفِلَّ أَوْ يُفَلَّا.
فَقَالَ لَهُ عَمَّارٌ: أَقْبِلْ، فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ تَحْتَ الْأَبَارِقَةِ، وَقَدْ تَزَيَّنَ الْحُورُ الْعِينُ مَعَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَحِزْبِهِ فِي الرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى. فَمَا رَجَعَا حَتَّى قُتِلَا. وَكُنَّا إِذَا تَوَادَعْنَا دَخَلَ هَؤُلَاءِ فِي عَسْكَرِ هَؤُلَاءِ وَهَؤُلَاءِ فِي عَسْكَرِ هَؤُلَاءِ، فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا أَرْبَعَةٌ يَسِيرُونَ: مُعَاوِيَةُ، وَأَبُو الْأَعْوَرِ السُّلَمِيُّ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ وَابْنُهُ، فَقُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: إِنْ أَخَذْتُ عَنْ يَمِينِي اثْنَيْنِ لَمْ أَسْمَعْ كَلَامَهُمْ، فَاخْتَرْتُ لِنَفْسِي أَنْ أَضْرِبَ فَرَسِي فَأُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَفَعَلْتُ، فَجَعَلْتُ اثْنَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِي وَاثْنَيْنِ عَنْ يَسَارِي، فَجَعَلْتُ أُصْغِي بِسَمْعِي أَحْيَانًا إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ وَإِلَى أَبِي الْأَعْوَرِ، وَأَحْيَانًا إِلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، وَإِلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، فَسَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ لِأَبِيهِ: يَا أَبَتِ، قَدْ قَتَلْنَا هَذَا الرَّجُلَ، وَقَدْ قَالَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - مَا قَالَ. قَالَ: وَأَيُّ رَجُلٍ؟ قَالَ: عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ، أَمَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ يَوْمَ بِنَاءِ الْمَسْجِدِ، وَنَحْنُ نَنْقُلُ لَبِنَةً لَبِنَةً، وَعَمَّارٌ يَحْمِلُ لَبِنَتَيْنِ لَبِنَتَيْنِ، وَأَنْتَ تَرْحَضُ: " «أَمَا إِنَّهُ سَتَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ، وَأَنْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ» ". فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ: اسْكُتْ، فَوَاللَّهِ مَا تَزَالُ تَدْحَضُ فِي بَوْلِكَ، أَنَحْنُ قَتَلْنَاهُ، إِنَّمَا قَتَلَهُ مَنْ جَاءُوا بِهِ فَأَلْقَوْهُ بَيْنَ رِمَاحِنَا. قَالَ: فَتَنَادَوْا فِي عَسْكَرِ مُعَاوِيَةَ: إِنَّمَا قَتَلَ عَمَّارًا مَنْ جَاءَ بِهِ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بِاخْتِصَارٍ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى بِنَحْوِ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ، وَالْبَزَّارُ بِقَوْلِهِ: " تَقْتُلُ «عَمَّارًا الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ» " عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَحْدَهُ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ، وَأَبِي يَعْلَى ثِقَاتٌ.
#12048 12048 - And from Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami, who said: We were present with ‘Ali at Siffin, and we had entrusted two men to watch over his horse. Whenever one of the men was inattentive, ‘Ali would spur his horse, and suddenly he would be within the enemy's camp. He would then return to us with his sword stained with blood, saying: "O my companions, excuse me, excuse me." When we had a truce, these people would enter the camp of those people. ‘Ammar ibn Yasir was a banner for the companions of Muhammad (pbuh); ‘Ammar would not take any path among the valleys of Siffin except that the companions of Muhammad (pbuh) followed him. We eventually reached Hashim ibn ‘Utbah ibn Abi Waqqas, who had planted the standard. ‘Ammar said: "What is the matter with you, O Hashim? Are you one-eyed and a coward? There is no good in a one-eyed man who does not charge at the people." So Hashim pulled up the standard, saying: "A one-eyed man seeks a place for his family... he has grappled with life until he grew weary... he must either break [the enemy] or be broken." ‘Ammar said to him: "Advance, for Paradise is beneath the flashes [of the swords], and the wide-eyed maidens (al-hur al-‘in) are adorned with Muhammad (pbuh) and his party in the Highest Companion." They did not return until they were both killed. When we had a truce, these people would enter the camp of those people and those people into the camp of these. I looked and saw four men riding: Mu‘awiyah, Abu al-A‘war al-Sulami, ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, and his son. I said to myself: "If I take two to my right, I will not hear their conversation." So I chose for myself to spur my horse and split between them. I did so, placing two on my right and two on my left. I began to listen carefully, sometimes to Mu‘awiyah and Abu al-A‘war, and sometimes to ‘Amr ibn al-‘As and ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr. I heard ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr saying to his father: "O my father, we have killed this man, and the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said about him what he said." He said: "Which man?" He replied: "‘Ammar ibn Yasir. Did you not hear the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) say on the day of building the Mosque, while we were carrying bricks one by one and ‘Ammar was carrying two by two, while you were washing [the dust] off: 'Indeed, the transgressing party will kill you, and you are among the people of Paradise'?" Mu‘awiyah said: "Be silent! By Allah, you are still wallowing in your own urine. Did we kill him? Rather, those who brought him and threw him between our spears killed him." He said: They then called out in Mu‘awiyah's camp: "‘Ammar was only killed by those who brought him."

- Dhe nga Ebu Abdurrahman es-Sulemi ka thënë: Ishim dëshmitarë me Aliun në Siffin, dhe i kishim besuar dy burra për kalin e tij. Kur ndodhte që ndonjëri prej tyre të ishte i pakujdesshëm, Aliu e niste kalin e tij dhe papritmas ai gjendej në mes të ushtrisë së popullit (kundërshtar), pastaj kthehej tek ne ndërsa shpata e tij ishte e lyer me gjak dhe thoshte: O shokët e mi, më arsyetoni, më arsyetoni. Kur bënim armëpushim, këta hynin në ushtrinë e atyre (dhe anasjelltas). Ammar bin Jasiri ishte si një flamur për shokët e Muhammedit (s.a.v.s.); Ammari nuk ndiqte asnjë luginë nga luginat e Siffinit pa u ndjekur nga shokët e Muhammedit (s.a.v.s.). Arritëm te Hashim bin Utbe bin Ebi Vakkas, i cili kishte ngulur flamurin, dhe (Ammari) i tha: Çfarë ke o Hashim, a je bërë i verbër nga njëri sy
dhe frikacak? Nuk ka mirësi në një të verbër nga njëri sy që nuk i sulmon njerëzit. Atëherë Hashimi e shkuli flamurin duke thënë:
Një i verbër nga njëri sy që kërkon për familjen e tij një vend...
E ka sfiduar jetën derisa u mërzit... patjetër që do të thyejë ose do të thyhet.
Ammari i tha atij: Afrohu, sepse Xheneti është nën shkëlqimin e shpatave, dhe hyritë syzeza janë zbukuruar bashkë me Muhammedin dhe grupin e tij në shoqërinë më të lartë. Ata të dy nuk u kthyen derisa u vranë. Kur bënim armëpushim, këta hynin në ushtrinë e atyre dhe ata në ushtrinë e këtyre. Pashë katër persona që po ecnin: Muaviun, Ebu el-A'ver es-Sulemiun, Amr bin el-Asin dhe djalin e tij. Thashë me vete: Nëse marr dy në të djathtën time, nuk do ta dëgjoj fjalën e tyre, kështu që zgjodha për vete ta godas kalin tim dhe të ndaj mes tyre. Kështu bëra, lashë dy në të djathtën time dhe dy në të majtën time. Fillova të dëgjoja herë Muaviun dhe Ebu el-A'verin, dhe herë Amr bin el-Asin dhe Abdullah bin Amrin. Dëgjova Abdullah bin Amrin t'i thoshte babait të tij: O babai im, ne e vramë këtë njeri, ndërkohë që i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë për të atë që ka thënë. Ai tha: Cilin njeri? Tha: Ammar bin Jasirin. A nuk e ke dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) të thoshte ditën e ndërtimit të xhamisë, kur ne po bartnim tullat një nga një, ndërsa Ammari mbante dy nga dy, ndërsa ti po pastroje pluhurin: "«Vërtet, ty do të të vrasë grupi rebel, ndërsa ti je nga banorët e Xhenetit»". Muaviu tha: Hesht, pasha Allahun, ti vazhdon të zhytesh në urinën tënde! A ne e vramë atë? Atë e vrau ai që e solli dhe e hodhi mes heshtave tona. Tha: Atëherë thirrën në ushtrinë e Muaviut: Ammarin e vrau ai që e solli.
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu, dhe Ahmedi në mënyrë të shkurtuar, dhe Ebu Jala ngjashëm me Taberaniun, dhe Bezzari me thënien e tij: "Do ta vrasë «Ammarin grupi rebel»" nga Abdullah bin Amri i vetëm, dhe burrat e Ahmedit dhe Ebu Jalas janë të besueshëm.
