١٢٣١٧ - وَعَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا هَاجَتِ الْفِتْنَةُ
قَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ لِحُجَيْرِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ الْعَدَوِيِّ: اذْهَبْ إِلَى قَوْمِكَ فَانْهَهُمْ عَنِ الْفِتْنَةِ. قَالَ: إِنِّي لَمَغْمُوزٌ فِيهِمْ وَمَا أَطَاعَ. قَالَ: فَأَبْلَغَهُمْ عَنِّي وَانْهَهُمْ عَنْهَا.
قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ يُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ: لَأَنْ أَكُونَ عَبْدًا حَبَشِيًّا أَسْوَدَ فِي أَعْنُزٍ حَصَبَاتٍ فِي رَأْسِ جَبَلٍ أَرْعَاهُنَّ حَتَّى يُدْرِكَنِي أَجَلِي أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أَرْمِيَ أَحَدَ الصَّفَّيْنِ بِسَهْمٍ أَخْطَأْتُ أَمْ أَصَبْتُ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.
#12317 12317 - And on the authority of Humayd bin Hilal, who said: When the civil strife broke out, 'Imran bin Husayn said to Hujayr bin al-Rabi' al-Adawi: "Go to your people and forbid them from the civil strife." He replied: "I am discredited among them," and he did not obey. He ('Imran) said: "Then convey it from me and forbid them from it." He (the narrator) said: And I heard 'Imran swearing by Allah: "That I should be a black Abyssinian slave with a few goats on the peak of a mountain, tending them until my death overtakes me, is more beloved to me than shooting an arrow at either of the two ranks, whether I miss or hit."

12317 - Dhe nga Humejd bin Hilal ka thënë: Kur shpërtheu fitneja (trazira)
Imran bin Husajni i tha Huxhejr bin er-Rebi' el-Adauit: Shko te populli yt dhe ndaloji ata nga fitneja. Ai tha: Unë jam i dyshuar mes tyre dhe nuk më binden. Ai tha: Atëherë përcillu atyre prej meje dhe ndaloji ata prej saj.
Tha: Dhe e dëgjova Imranin duke u betuar në Allahun: Të isha një rob habeshi (etiopian) i zi, me disa dhi në majë të një mali duke i kullotur ato derisa të më vijë vdekja, është më e dashur për mua sesa të gjuaj njërën nga dy palët me një shigjetë, qoftë nëse gaboj apo nëse qëlloj.
