١٢٨٤١ - وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنَ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ: نَظَرَ عُمَرُ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ - وَكَانَ اسْمُهُ مُحَمَّدًا - وَرَجُلٌ يَقُولُ لَهُ: فَعَلَ اللَّهُ بِكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ. فَسَمَّاهُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ، فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى بَنِي طَلْحَةَ وَهُمْ سَبْعَةٌ، سَيِّدُهُمْ وَكَبِيرُهُمْ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ فَغَيَّرَ أَسْمَاءَهُمْ، فَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: أُذَكِّرُكَ اللَّهَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَوَاللَّهِ مُحَمَّدٌ - ﷺ - سَمَّانِي. فَقَالَ: قُومُوا، فَلَا
سَبِيلَ إِلَى شَيْءٍ سَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ، وَأَحْمَدُ وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.
#12841 And on the authority of Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, who said: Umar looked at the son of Abd al-Hamid—whose name was Muhammad—while a man was saying to him: "May Allah do [such and such] to you, O Muhammad." Consequently, he renamed him Abdur-Rahman. He then sent for the sons of Talha, and they were seven, their leader and eldest being Muhammad ibn Talha, to change their names. Muhammad said: "I remind you of Allah, O Commander of the Faithful, for by Allah, Muhammad (pbuh) named me." He said: "Stand up; there is no way to [alter] anything that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) has named."

12841 - Dhe nga Abdurrahman bin Ebi Lejla ka thënë: Omeri shikoi nga Ibn Abdylhamidi - emri i të cilit ishte Muhamed - ndërsa një burrë po i thoshte atij: "Allahu bëftë me ty kështu e ashtu, o Muhamed". Atëherë ai (Omeri) ia ndryshoi emrin në Abdurrahman. Pastaj dërgoi te bijtë e Talhas, të cilët ishin shtatë, e zotëria dhe më i madhi i tyre ishte Muhamed bin Talha, dhe ua ndryshoi emrat e tyre. Muhamedi tha: "Të kujtoj Allahun, o Prijës i Besimtarëve, sepse pasha Allahun, Muhamedi (s.a.v.s.) më ka emërtuar mua". Ai tha: "Ngrihuni, nuk ka
asnjë rrugë (për të ndryshuar) diçka që e ka emërtuar i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.).
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu dhe teksti është i tij, si dhe Ahmedi, dhe burrat e Ahmedit janë burrat e Sahihut.
