١٢٨٥٠ - وَعَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ لِي: " مَا اسْمُكَ؟ ". فَقُلْتُ: عَبَدُ الْعُزَّى. قَالَ: " بَلْ أَنْتَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ» ".
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «مَا اسْمُكَ؟ قُلْتُ: عَزِيزٌ. قَالَ: " اللَّهُ الْعَزِيزُ» ". وَرِجَالُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.
#12850 And from Khaythama ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: "I came to the Prophet (pbuh) and he said to me: 'What is your name?' I replied: 'Abd al-Uzza.' He said: 'Rather, you are Abd al-Rahman.'"

- Dhe nga Hejtheme bin Abdurrahman, nga babai i tij, nga gjyshi i tij, i cili ka thënë: «Erdha te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe ai më tha: "Si e ke emrin?". Thashë: Abdu'l-Uzza. Ai tha: "Përkundrazi, ti je Abdurrahman»".
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu dhe Bezzari në mënyrë të ngjashme, përveç se ai ka thënë: «Si e ke emrin? Thashë: Aziz. Ai tha: "Allahu është el-Aziz (i Plotfuqishmi)»". Dhe burrat e Taberaniut janë burra të Sahihut.
