١٢٨٥٢ - وَعَنْ سَبْرَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ، «أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ: " مَا وَلَدُكَ؟ " فَقَالَ: عَبْدُ الْعُزَّى، وَسَبْرَةُ، وَالْحَارِثُ. فَقَالَ: " لَا تُسَمِّي عَبْدَ الْعُزَّى، وَسَمِّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ؛ فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الْأَسْمَاءِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَارِثُ، وَهَمَّامٌ ". وَدَعَا لِوَلَدِهِ، فَلَمْ يَزَالُوا فِي شَرَفٍ إلِىَ الْيَوْمِ».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَفِيهِ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ، وَفِيهِ ضَعِيفٌ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ.
#12852 12852 - And on the authority of Sabrah ibn Abi Sabrah, that his father came to the Prophet (pbuh) and he said: "Who are your children?" He said: "Abd al-Uzza, Sabrah, and al-Harith." He said: "Do not name him Abd al-Uzza, but name him Abd Allah; for indeed the best of names are Abd Allah, Ubayd Allah, al-Harith, and Hammam." And he supplicated for his children, and they have not ceased to be in honor until today.

- Dhe nga Sebreh bin Ebi Sebreh, se babai i tij erdhi te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe ai e pyeti: "Si i kanë emrat fëmijët e tu?" Ai u përgjigj: Abdüluzza, Sebreh dhe el-Harith. Atëherë ai tha: "Mos e emërto Abdüluzza, por emërtoje Abdullah; sepse emrat më të mirë janë Abdullah, Ubejdullah, el-Harith dhe Hemmam." Dhe ai u lut për fëmijët e tij, kështu që ata nuk pushuan së qeni në nder deri më sot.
E transmeton et-Taberaniu, dhe në të është el-Haxhaxh bin Erta'ah, i cili është i dobët, ndërsa pjesa tjetër e burrave të tij janë burra të Sahihut.
