١٢٨٥٣ - وَعَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ لِأَبِي: " هَذَا ابْنُكَ؟ ". قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: " مَا اسْمُهُ؟ ". قَالَ: الْحُبَابُ. قَالَ: " لَا تُسَمِّهِ الْحُبَابَ، فَإِنَّ الْحُبَابَ شَيْطَانٌ، وَلَكِنْ هُوَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ» ". فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ. وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي النَّفَقَاتِ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَفِيهِ السَّرِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ.
#12853 12853 - And from Khaythama ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his father, who said: "I entered upon the Prophet (pbuh), and he said to my father: 'Is this your son?' I said: 'Yes.' He asked: 'What is his name?' He replied: 'Al-Hubab.' He said: 'Do not name him Al-Hubab, for Al-Hubab is a devil; rather, he is Abd al-Rahman.'" And he mentioned the hadith. It has been mentioned previously in the section on expenditures.

- Dhe nga Hejthemeh bin Abdurrahman, nga babai i tij, i cili ka thënë:
«Hyra te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe ai i tha babait tim: "A është ky djali yt?".
Thashë: Po. Ai tha: "Si e ka emrin?". Tha: El-Hubab. Ai tha: "Mos e emërto El-Hubab, sepse El-Hubab është shejtan, por ai është Abdurrahman"». Dhe e përmendi hadithin. Dhe kjo ka kaluar më parë te kapitulli i shpenzimeve.
E ka transmetuar Et-Taberaniu, dhe në të është Es-Serij bin Ismail, i cili është i braktisur (metruk).
