١٢٨٧٨ - وَعَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ: " مَا اسْمُكَ؟ ". قَالَ: نُعْمٌ. قَالَ: " بَلْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ» ".
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ.
#12878 12878 - And on the authority of al-Bara' bin 'Azib, that the Prophet (pbuh) said to a man: "What is your name?" He replied: "Nu'm." He said: "Rather, [it is] Abdullah."
