١٢٨٩١ - وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ:
«كَانَ اسْمِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ عَبْدُ كُلَالٍ، فَسَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ، وَفِيهِ نَاصِحٌ أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.
#12891 12891 - And on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Samurah, who said: "My name during the pre-Islamic period of ignorance (Jahiliyyah) was Abd Kulal, so the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) named me Abd al-Rahman."

12891 - Dhe nga Abdurrahman bin Semureh ka thënë:
«Emri im në xhahilijet ishte Abdu Kulal, kështu që i Dërguari i Allahut - (s.a.v.s.) - ma vuri emrin Abdurrahman».
