١٣٢٩٥ - وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: «جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - ﷺ - فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أُنْشِدُكَ؟ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، فَأَنْشَدَهُ الرَّابِعَةَ مَدِيحَهُ لَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ -: " إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الشُّعَرَاءِ يُحْسِنُ فَقَدْ أَحْسَنْتَ».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَفِيهِ رَاوٍ لَمْ يُسَمَّ وَعَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ اخْتَلَطَ.
#13295 13295 - And on the authority of Ubada bin al-Samit, who said: A man from Banu Layth came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall I recite poetry to you?" He said this three times, and on the fourth time, he recited his praise for him. Then the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "If any of the poets has done well, then you have indeed done well."

- Dhe nga Ubade bin es-Samit ka thënë: «Erdhi një burrë nga Beni Lejth te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe tha: O i Dërguari i Allahut, a të të recitoj poezi? E tha këtë tri herë, dhe në të katërtën i recitoi lavdinë e tij për të, atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Nëse ndonjëri prej poetëve ka bërë mirë, ti vërtet ke bërë mirë".
E ka transmetuar et-Taberaniu, dhe në të është një transmetues që nuk është emëruar, si dhe Ata bin es-Saib i cili u ngatërrua (në memorien e tij).
