١٣٣٣٨ - وَعَنِ النَّابِغَةَ قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ - ﷺ - فَأَنْشَدْتُهُ مِنْ قَوْلِي:
عَلَوْنَا الْعِبَادَ عِفَّةً وَتَكَرُّمًا ... وَإِنَّا لَنَرْجُو فَوْقَ ذَلِكَ مَظْهَرًا
قَالَ: " أَيْنَ الْمَظْهَرُ يَا أَبَا لَيْلَى؟ ". قُلْتُ: الْجَنَّةُ. قَالَ: " أَجَلْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ". قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَالَ: " أَنْشِدْنِي ". فَأَنْشَدْتُهُ مِنْ قَوْلِي:
وَلَا خَيْرَ فِي حِلْمٍ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ... بَوَادِرُ تَحْمِي صَفْوَهُ أَنْ يَكَدَّرَا
وَلَا خَيْرَ فِي جَهْلٍ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ... حَلِيمٌ إِذَا مَا أَوْرَدَ الْأَمْرَ أَصْدَرَا
قَالَ: " أَحْسَنْتَ لَا يَفْضُضِ اللَّهُ فَاكَ "».
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ، وَفِيهِ يَعْلَى بْنُ الْأَشْدَقِ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ.
#13338 13338 - On the authority of al-Nabighah, who said: I came to the Prophet (pbuh) and recited to him some of my poetry: "We have surpassed mankind in chastity and nobility, and we indeed hope for a destination beyond that." He (pbuh) asked: "Where is the destination, O Abu Layla?" I replied: "Paradise." He said: "Yes, if Allah wills." He then said: "Recite for me." So I recited to him some of my poetry: "There is no good in forbearance if it does not have sharp defenses that protect its purity from being sullied. And there is no good in ignorance if it does not have a forbearing person who, when he embarks upon a matter, brings it to a proper conclusion." He said: "You have done well; may Allah not scatter your teeth."

13338 - Dhe nga en-Nabigha transmetohet se ka thënë: «Erdha te Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) dhe i recitova atij nga poezia ime:
I tejkaluam njerëzit me dëlirësi dhe bujari ... dhe ne shpresojmë mbi këtë një vendmbërritje.
Ai tha: "Ku është vendmbërritja, o Ebu Lejla?". Thashë: Xheneti. Ai tha: "Po, në dashtë Allahu". Tha: Pastaj tha: "Më recito".
Dhe i recitova atij nga poezia ime:
Nuk ka mirësi në butësinë (hilm) nëse ajo nuk ka ... vrull që mbron kthjelltësinë e saj nga turbullimi.
Dhe nuk ka mirësi në paditurinë (xhahl) nëse ajo nuk ka ... një të urtë që kur e fillon një çështje, e përfundon atë.
Ai tha: "Ke bërë mirë, mos t'i thëntë Allahu dhëmbët e tu (mos t'u prishët goja)"».
E ka transmetuar el-Bezzari, dhe në zinxhirin e tij është Jala bin el-Eshdak, i cili është i dobët.
