١٣٦٢٨ - وَعَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَصَاحِبٌ لِي إِلَى سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ، فَقَالَ سَلْمَانُ: «لَوْلَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - نَهَى عَنِ التَّكَلُّفِ لَتَكَلَّفْتُ لَكُمْ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ بِخُبْزٍ وَمِلْحٍ، فَقَالَ صَاحِبِي: لَوْ كَانَ فِي مِلْحِنَا صَعْتَرٌ، فَبَعَثَ سَلْمَانُ بِمَطْهَرَتِهِ فَرَهَنَهَا، ثُمَّ جَاءَ بِصَعْتَرٍ، فَلَمَّا أَكَلْنَا قَالَ صَاحِبِي: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي قَنَّعَنَا بِمَا رَزَقَنَا. فَقَالَ سَلْمَانُ: لَوْ قَنَعْتَ بِمَا رَزَقَكَ لَمْ تَكُنْ مَطْهَرَتِي مَرْهُونَةً».
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ، غَيْرَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ الطُّوسِيِّ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ.
#13628 13628 - And on the authority of Shaqiq bin Salamah, who said: I and a companion of mine entered upon Salman al-Farisi, and Salman said: "Had it not been that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) forbade affectation, I would have gone to great lengths for you." Then he brought bread and salt, and my companion said: "If only there were some thyme with our salt." So Salman sent his water vessel and pawned it, and then he brought some thyme. When we had eaten, my companion said: "Praise be to Allah, who has made us content with what He has provided us." Salman replied: "Had you been content with what He provided you, my water vessel would not be in pawn."

- Dhe nga Shekik bin Seleme ka thënë: Hyra unë dhe një shoku im te Selman el-Farisiu, e Selmani tha: «Sikur të mos ishte se i Dërguari i Allahut - (s.a.v.s.) - ka ndaluar nga mundimi i tepërt (tekellufi), do të isha munduar për ju», pastaj solli bukë dhe kripë. Shoku im tha: Sikur të kishte trumzë (satar) në kripën tonë. Atëherë Selmani dërgoi enën e tij të ujit dhe e la peng, pastaj solli trumzë. Kur ngrënëm, shoku im tha: Falënderimi i takon Allahut që na bëri të kënaqur me atë që na furnizoi. Selmani tha: «Sikur të ishe i kënaqur me atë që të furnizoi, ena ime e ujit nuk do të ishte e lënë peng».
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu, dhe burrat e tij janë burrat e Sahihut, përveç Muhamed bin Mansur et-Tusiut, i cili është i besueshëm.
