#13895 And from Dihyah al-Kalbi that he said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) sent me with a letter to Caesar, so I came to him and gave him the letter. With him was a nephew of his who was ruddy-complexioned, blue-eyed, and had straight hair. When he read the letter, it contained: "From Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), to Heraclius, the leader of the Romans." He said: His nephew snorted a snort and said: "This shall not be read today." Caesar said to him: "Why?" He replied: "Because he started with himself and wrote 'the leader of the Romans' and did not write 'the King of the Romans.'" Caesar said: "You shall certainly read it." When he read the letter and they left his presence, he brought me in to see him and sent for the Bishop, who was the head of their affairs. They informed him, and Caesar informed him and had him read the letter. The Bishop said to him: "This is the one we have been waiting for and whom Jesus gave us glad tidings of." Caesar said to him: "What do you command me to do?" The Bishop said to him: "As for me, I believe in him and follow him." Caesar said to him: "As for me, if I do that, my kingdom will be gone." Then we left his presence, and Caesar sent for Abu Sufyan, who was with him at that time. He said: "Tell me about this man who has emerged in your land; what is he?" He replied: "A young man." He asked: "How is his lineage among you?" He replied: "He is of a lineage among us that no one is preferred over." He said: "This is a sign of prophethood." He asked: "How is his truthfulness?" He replied: "He has never lied." He said: "This is a sign of prophethood." He asked: "Have you seen any of your companions who go out to him, do they return to you?" He replied: "No." He said: "This is a sign of prophethood." He asked: "Have you seen any of his companions who come out to you, do they return to him?" He replied: "Yes." He said: "This is a sign of prophethood." He asked: "Is he sometimes afflicted when he fights with his companions?" He replied: "A people have fought him; they defeated them and they defeated him." He said: "This is a sign of prophethood." Then he called me and said: "Inform your companion that I know he is a prophet, but I will not leave my kingdom." As for the Bishop, they used to gather to him every Sunday, and he would come out to them, speak to them, and remind them. When it was Sunday, he did not come out to them and remained seated until the following Sunday. I used to enter upon him, and he would talk to me and ask me questions. When the next Sunday came, they waited for him to come out to them, but he did not come out and excused himself with illness. He did this several times until they sent word to him: "You shall certainly come out to us or we shall enter upon you and kill you, for we have disapproved of you since this Arab arrived." The Bishop said: "Take this letter and go to your companion, convey to him greetings of peace, and inform him that I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and that I have believed in him, affirmed him, and followed him, and that they have disapproved of me for that; so convey to him what you see." Then he went out to them and they killed him. Then Dihyah went out to the Prophet (pbuh), and with him were the messengers of Kisra's governors over Sana'a, whom he had sent to him. He had written to the ruler of Sana'a threatening him, saying: "Settle for me [deal with] a man who has emerged in your land calling me to his religion, or I shall pay the Jizyah, or I shall kill you"—or he said: "I shall certainly do such-and-such to you." So the ruler of Sana'a sent fifteen men to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). Dihyah found them with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). When he read their master's letter, he left them for fifteen nights. When fifteen nights had passed, they approached him, and when he saw them, he called them and said: "Go to your master and tell him: 'Indeed, my Lord has killed his lord tonight.'" So they departed and informed him of what he had done. He said: "Record this night." He asked: "Tell me, how did you see him?" They said: "We have never seen a king more composed than him; he walks among them fearing nothing, humble and unguarded, and they do not raise their voices in his presence." Dihyah said: "Then news came that Kisra was killed that night."

Cezari i tha: "Përse?". Cezari i tha: "Do ta lexosh patjetër!". Tha: "Po". Tha: "Kjo është shenjë e profecisë". Tha: "A mposhtet ndonjëherë kur lufton ai me shokët e tij?"
Guvernatori i Sanas dërgoi te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) pesëmbëdhjetë burra. Dihja i gjeti ata te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.).
