Hadith #14069 - Majma al-Zawaid - The Compilation of Extra Narrations and the Source of Benefits

١٤٠٦٩ - وَعَنْ خُرَيْمِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - يَقُولُ: " «هَذِهِ الْحِيرَةُ الْبَيْضَاءُ قَدْ رُفِعَتْ لِي، وَهَذِهِ الشَّمَّاءُ بَنْتُ بُقَيْلَةَ الْأَزْدِيَّةُ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ شَهْبَاءَ مُعْتَجَرِةً بِخِمَارٍ أَسْوَدَ ". قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنْ دَخَلْنَا الْحِيرَةَ وَوَجَدْتُهَا عَلَى هَذِهِ الصِّفَةِ فَهِيَ لِي؟ قَالَ: " هِيَ لَكَ ". ثُمَّ ارْتَدَّتِ الْعَرَبُ فَلَمْ يَرْتَدَّ أَحَدٌ مِنْ طَيِّئٍ فَكُنَّا نُقَاتِلُ قَيْسًا عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَمِنْهُمْ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ حِصْنٍ وَكُنَّا نُقَاتِلُ طُلَيْحَةَ بْنَ خُوَيْلِدٍ الْفَقْعَسِيَّ فَامْتَدَحَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ وَكَانَ فِيمَا قَالَ فِينَا: جَزَى اللَّهُ عَنَّا طَيِّئًا فِي دِيَارِهَا بِمُعْتَرَكِ الْأَبْطَالِ خَيْرَ جَزَاءِ هُمُ أَهْلُ رَايَاتِ السَّمَاحَةُ وَالنَّدَى إِذَا مَا الصَّبَا أَلْوَتْ بِكُلِّ خِبَاءِ هُمُ ضَرَبُوا قَيْسًا عَلَى الدِّينِ بَعْدَ مَا أَجَابُوا مُنَادِيَ ظُلْمَةٍ وَعَمَاءِ ثُمَّ سَارَ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ إِلَى مُسَيْلِمَةَ فَسِرْنَا مَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا مِنْ مُسَيْلِمَةَ وَأَصْحَابِهِ أَقْبَلْنَا إِلَى نَاحِيَةِ الْبَصْرَةِ، فَلَقِينَا هُرْمُزَ بِكَاظِمَةَ فِي جَمْعٍ عَظِيمٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَحَدٌ أَعْدَى لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ هُرْمُزَ. فَبَرَزَ لَهُ ابْنُ الْوَلِيدِ وَدَعَا إِلَى الْبِرَازِ، فَبَرَزَ لَهُ هُرْمُزُ، فَقَتَلَهُ خَالِدٌ - ﵁ - وَكَتَبَ بِذَلِكَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ﵁ فَنَفَّلَهُ سَلَبَهُ، فَبَلَغَتْ قَلَنْسُوَةُ هُرْمُزَ بِمِئَةِ أَلْفِ دِرْهَمٍ وَكَانَتْ الْفُرْسُ إِذَا أَشْرَفَ فِيهَا رَجُلٌ جَعَلُوا قَلَنْسُوَتَهُ مِائَةَ أَلْفِ دِرْهَمٍ، ثُمَّ سِرْنَا عَلَى طَرِيقٍ حَتَّى دَخَلْنَا الْحِيرَةَ، فَكَانَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَلَقَّانَا فِيهَا شَيْمَاءَ بِنْتَ بُقَيْلَةَ عَلَى بَغْلَةٍ لَهَا شَهْبَاءَ بِخِمَارٍ أَسْوَدَ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَتَعَلَّقْتُ بِهَا وَقُلْتُ: هَذِهِ وَهَبَهَا لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - ﷺ - فَدَعَانِي خَالِدٌ عَلَيْهَا الْبَيِّنَةَ، فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهَا، فَسَلَّمَهَا إِلَيَّ وَنَزَلَ إِلَيْنَا أَخُوهَا عَبْدُ الْمَسِيحِ فَقَالَ لِي: بِعْنِيهَا، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: لَا أَنْقُصُهَا وَاللَّهِ مِنْ عَشْرِ مِائَةٍ شَيْئًا، فَدَفَعَ إِلَيَّ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ فَقِيلَ لِي: لَوْ قُلْتَ: مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ، دَفَعَهَا إِلَيْكَ. فَقُلْتُ:
لَا أَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالًا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ عَشْرِ مِائَةٍ». وَبَلَغَنِي فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّ الشَّاهِدَيْنِ كَانَا مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مَسْلَمَةَ وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ.

#14069 14069 - And on the authority of Khuraym bin Aws, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) say: "This white Al-Hirah has been shown to me, and this is Al-Shamma' daughter of Buqaylah al-Azdiyah on a grey mule, wrapped in a black headscarf." I said: "O Messenger of Allah, if we enter Al-Hirah and I find her in this state, shall she be mine?" He said: "She is yours." Then the Arabs apostatized, but none from the tribe of Tayy apostatized. We used to fight Qays for the sake of Islam—among them was 'Utbah bin Hisn—and we fought Tulayhah bin Khuwaylid al-Faq'asi. Khalid bin al-Walid praised us, and among what he said about us was:
"May Allah reward Tayy on our behalf in their lands, in the clash of heroes, with the best reward.
They are the people of the banners of generosity and bounty, when the east wind causes every tent to tilt.
They struck Qays for the sake of the religion after they had answered the caller of darkness and blindness."
Then Khalid bin al-Walid marched toward Musaylimah, and we marched with him. When we finished with Musaylimah and his companions, we headed toward the region of Basra. We met Hormuz at Kazimah in a great host, and no one was more hostile to the Arabs than Hormuz. Ibn al-Walid stepped forward and called for a duel, and Hormuz stepped forward to meet him. Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) killed him and wrote of this to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), who awarded him his spoils. The cap of Hormuz was valued at one hundred thousand dirhams; it was the custom of the Persians that when a man among them attained great nobility, they would value his cap at one hundred thousand dirhams. Then we traveled along a path until we entered Al-Hirah. The first to meet us there was Shayma' daughter of Buqaylah on a grey mule of hers, with a black headscarf, just as the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) had said. So I laid hold of her and said: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) granted her to me." Khalid asked me for evidence of this, so I brought it to him, and he handed her over to me. Her brother, 'Abd al-Masih, came to us and said to me: "Sell her to me." I told him: "By Allah, I will not reduce her price by anything from ten hundred." So he gave me a thousand dirhams. I was then told: "If you had said a hundred thousand, he would have given it to you." I replied: "I did not think there was any wealth greater than ten hundred." And it reached me in a narration other than this hadith that the two witnesses were Muhammad bin Maslamah and 'Abdullah bin 'Umar.

- Dhe nga Khurejm bin Evs, i cili ka thënë: E kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: "Kjo Hira e bardhë më është shfaqur mua, dhe kjo është Shejma, vajza e Bukajle el-Ezdijes, mbi një mushkë ngjyrë hiri, e mbuluar me një vello të zezë". Thashë: O i Dërguari i Allahut, nëse hyjmë në Hira dhe e gjej atë në këtë gjendje, a do të jetë ajo e imja? Ai tha: "Ajo është e jotja". Më pas arabët u kthyen nga feja (u bënë murtedë), por askush nga fisi Tajj nuk u kthye. Ne luftonim fisin Kajs për Islamin, e prej tyre ishte Utbe bin Hisn, dhe luftonim Tulejha bin Khuvejlid el-Fak'asiun. Khalid bin Velidi na lavdëroi dhe ndër ato që tha për ne ishte:
Allahu e shpërbleftë fisin Tajj në vendet e tyre me shpërblimin më të mirë në fushëbetejën e heronjve.
Ata janë njerëzit e flamujve të bujarisë dhe dhuntisë, kur era e ftohtë e veriut i përkul të gjitha çadrat.
Ata e goditën fisin Kajs për hir të fesë, pasi ata i ishin përgjigjur thirrësit të errësirës dhe verbërisë.
Më pas Khalid bin Velidi u nis drejt Musejlemes dhe ne shkuam me të. Kur mbaruam me Musejlemen dhe shokët e tij, u drejtuam nga ana e Basrës. Takuam Hurmuzin në Kadhimah me një ushtri të madhe, dhe askush nuk ishte armik më i madh i arabëve sesa Hurmuzi. Ibn Velidi doli para tij dhe e ftoi në dyluftim. Hurmuzi doli para tij dhe Khalidi (r.a.) e vrau atë. Ai i shkroi për këtë Ebu Bekrit (r.a.), i cili ia dha atij plaçkën e tij të luftës. Kapela e Hurmuzit vlerësohej me njëqind mijë dërhemë, sepse persianët, kur një burrë arrinte pozitë të lartë mes tyre, ia bënin kapelën e tij me vlerë njëqind mijë dërhemë. Më pas udhëtuam nëpër një rrugë derisa hymë në Hira. E para që na doli përpara ishte Shejma, vajza e Bukajles, mbi një mushkë të saj ngjyrë hiri, me një vello të zezë, ashtu siç kishte thënë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.). Unë u kapa pas saj dhe thashë: Këtë ma ka dhuruar i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.). Khalidi më kërkoi dëshmi për këtë, dhe unë ia solla dëshminë. Ai ma dorëzoi atë mua. Vëllai i saj, Abdyl Mesihu, zbriti tek ne dhe më tha: Shitma atë mua. Unë i thashë: Për Allahun, nuk ia ul çmimin asgjë nga dhjetë qindëshe (një mijë). Ai më dha një mijë dërhemë. Më pas më thanë: Sikur të thoshe njëqind mijë, ai do t'i jepte. Unë thashë:
Nuk e kisha menduar se ka pasuri më shumë se dhjetë qindëshe". Më ka arritur në një hadith tjetër se dy dëshmitarët ishin Muhamed bin Mesleme dhe Abdullah bin Omer.
