- قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ: أَنْشَدَنِي أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، فَقَالَ:
أَنْشَدَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ التُّوزِيُّ قَالَ أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ:
وَسَأَلْتُ الرِّيَاشِيَّ عَنْهُ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ لِحَسَّانِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ:
وَتَرَكْتُمُ
غَزْوَ الدُّرُوبِ وَجِئْتُمُ ... لِقِتَالِ قَوْمٍ عِنْدَ قَبْرِ
مُحَمَّدِ فَلَبِئْسَ هَدْيُ الصَّالِحِينَ هَدَيْتُمُ
وَلَبِئْسَ فِعْلُ الْعَابِدِ الْمُجْتَهِدِ.

14579 - Al-Tabarani said: Abu Khalifa recited to me, saying: Abu Muhammad al-Tuzi recited to us. Abu Khalifa said: And I asked al-Riyashi about it, and he said: It is by Hassan bin Thabit: And you abandoned the military expeditions through the mountain passes and came to fight a people near the grave of Muhammad (pbuh). Most wretched indeed is the guidance of the righteous you have followed, and most wretched is the deed of the diligent worshiper.
14579 - Ka thënë Taberaniu: Më ka recituar Ebu Halife, i cili ka thënë: Na ka recituar Ebu Muhamed et-Tuzi. Ebu Halife ka thënë: E pyeta er-Rijashin rreth tij, dhe ai tha: Kjo i përket Hassan bin Thabitit:
Dhe ju e braktisët luftën nëpër rrugë (të armikut) dhe erdhët ... për të luftuar një popull pranë varrit të Muhamedit (s.a.v.s.). Sa udhëzim i keq i njerëzve të mirë është ai që keni ndjekur,
dhe sa veprim i keq i adhuruesit të zellshëm është ky.
