١٧٤٣٨ - وَعَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ: كَانَ مُعَاذٌ إِذَا تَهَجَّدَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ نَامَتِ الْعُيُونُ، وَغَارَتِ النُّجُومُ، وَأَنْتَ حَيٌّ قَيُّومٌ، اللَّهُمَّ طَلَبِي لِلْجَنَّةِ بَطِيءٌ، وَهَرَبِي مِنَ النَّارِ ضَعِيفٌ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي عِنْدَكَ هَدْيًا تَرُدُّهُ إِلَيَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ.
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ مُنْقَطِعٌ.
#17438 And from Thawr ibn Yazid, who said: Whenever Mu'adh performed the night prayer (Tahajjud), he would say: "O Allah, the eyes have fallen asleep, and the stars have set, while You are the Ever-Living, the Sustainer. O Allah, my pursuit of Paradise is slow, and my fleeing from the Fire is weak. O Allah, grant me a gift in Your presence that You will return to me on the Day of Resurrection; indeed, You do not fail in Your promise."

17438 - Dhe nga Tevr bin Jezidi ka thënë: Muadhi kur falej natën (tehexhud), thoshte: O Allah, sytë kanë fjetur, yjet kanë perënduar, ndërsa Ti je i Gjallë dhe i Përjetshëm. O Allah, kërkimi im për Xhenetin është i ngadaltë dhe ikja ime nga Zjarri është e dobët. O Allah, më jep tek Ti një udhëzim (ose premtim) që do të ma kthesh në Ditën e Kiametit, vërtet Ti nuk e shkel premtimin.
E ka transmetuar Taberaniu dhe isnadi i tij është i ndërprerë (munka'ti).
